Wonderful resort for our last few days in Thailand! We arrived here after a very long boat ride, then a long taxi ride and were welcomed by very friendly staff who made you feel relaxed immediately. We were then taken to a very cozy, comfortable room that helped ease the stresses of the day away. Everything is very clean! The king size bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. They give you 4 large bottles of water daily. The bathroom was very large and the shower was huge! The pool was the best we had in all resorts. The wooden walkway throughout the resort is raised above ground level and connects all the rooms and pool and is kept up, along with the beautiful landscape/trees/shrubs. The beach is across the road and you can walk for miles - perfection! No cons, only pros here! They took us to the airport on the morning of our departure as well!

Lovely rooms with fantastic pillows and spacious bathrooms. Quiet, great pool. Reception not good. Drop off is on the road and reception is 100 meters away with no porters easily available. You have to leave your luggage on the side of the road and hope it will be there when you get back! Not good. Breakfast OK, restaurant good. Massages great and very cheap. Obviously get lots of stuff stolen from rooms so reception very defensive.

This is the second time staying here. This place is a little oasis that has great staff rooms at a really affordable rate. The pool is sufficient and being across the road from the beach a great location . Pool service available , gym has enough , breakfast is average but is expected on the low cost. Plenty of options within a 5minute walk if you want. Seriously can not go wrong here and save a fortune compared to others around .

The room was OK,bed comfortable, aircon worked well but no second key to have it on when you go out for a short time. Did have to ask for toilet paper and soaps but were supplied quickly. Booked 6 months in advance asking for room 3,4,or 5 but given room at back. Breakfast was poor. Very little we could eat. Good coffee machine though. Not everyone could speak English but were helpful. Park is lovely when you go into main area. Yes there is some rubbish, saw a few dogs that were there but not aggressive. Beach is nice but only swimable in the town area. Some nice beach restaurants in town and was able to buy supplies and alcohol. Walk to town is 10 minutes ,recommend having torch for safety.

Although the resort itself is very good, the check in service really soured our experience. Here’s the long story. Location: 5 out of 5. If you are after party street then this not the place for you. Similarly if your sole purpose in coming to Phuket is to visit the islands then You are better off at a hotel further south where direct pick up and drop off will be free. However if you want to chillax this place is perfect. Right across the road from a nice beach, quiet and no stress strolling distance from many restaurants on the beach. Some great sunset photo opportunities. More mosquitoes per square meter than anywhere else we’ve been in Thailand so be prepared for that. Room: 4 out of 5. Spacious, tidy, great bathroom. Only one side board on one side of the bed (pet peeve. Can hotels understand that couples generally want one per side?) WiFi needed a log on everytime you got on your phone or device. Not a big deal but the water does not come in a screw top bottle but a ‘grolsch’ style beer bottle. Have fun playing ‘seek and destroy’ with the mosquitoes but honestly they did not bother us at night. Facilities: 4.5 out 5 Nice large outdoor bar undercover. Live entertainment that may be better changed to a play list. ( but bless ‘em for trying). Dinner was so so but lots of eateries around. Breakfast great one day and good the next. One of the best equipped gyms I’ve seen at any hotel. The pool was huge and had good shade in the morning. Needed more shade in the afternoon. This is important for us because we choose accommodation so we can chill by the pool when we want. Soooooo…… Service 0 out of 5 Let’s be clear, all of the staff were very helpful, polite and accommodating but the check in was the worst I have experienced. Firstly , the check in lady said we have booked two rooms. No we didn’t. She then showed us the booking reference for both. Sure, but we only have confirmation of one booking, here are the emails to prove it. “Okay then you have to cancel the other one” “How can we do that if we have no paper trail for that booking?” And this went on and on, she insisted the fault was at our end we had to fix it. I honestly don’t know how it happened, I re checked all communication and found no evidence of the second booking. It doesn’t matter, instead of letting things get heated (and they did) the service provider should just be “okay, we fix for you”. Not interrupting and accusatory. So now we are rattled and then “pool is not available due to maintenance. “Wait, whaaa? This is not on your website (nor tripadvisor, guys) when will it be ready?” Tomorrow. “But we will be on a full day trip tomorrow” Much discussion was had and we checked in begrudgingly. Asked for some brochures for Things to see, nothing but water park. We dumped our luggage and went for a walk to cool off. Dewar hotel around the corner looked nice, we walked in to enquire about rooms and tours. EXCEPTIONAL service. A very different experience. Good rates and pool open for use. So we wanted to change. To cut the story short, this was a new level frustration. Despite us paying them via CC a few minutes ago, despite temperatures getting heated, despite more patient and reasoned discussion about everything is possible, they would only refund half the money and absolutely refused to let us contact the manager. I understand this scenario may be above your level please put me onto the person who is saying you can’t give us a refund. “No boss here” “boss busy, can’t talk to you” We ended up staying but the experience was very much soured. Hence the overall rating.p

Overall, during low-season discounts, the hotel was worth the money. However, it was among our worst experience in Thailand and in Eastern Asia overall. Due to following reasons: 1. The awful service. The only kind worker was the guy that met us at the airport (and gifted us free coconuts another time). Reception lady is the rudest person that I have ever met in Thailand. Never smiles (imagine such persons exist in Thailand!), speaks English very bad. In fact, all the following reasons of bad experience were solely due to her. At least, she was really capable to make our stay more enjoyable, but she was always angry to think about this. 2. The pool did not work. As the beach nearby is not good for swimming, and we were with small children, the pool was quite important for us. However, noone caused us about the pool maintenance beforehand. Just at the check-in, that lady said that the pool would be opened in three days. Sure, it wasn't. I respect the maintenance rules, however, I believe that respectful hotels usually make some compliments on such cases. We saw that some guests were offered free breakfasts, but we have paid for breakfasts in advance. We suggested whether they could offer us free transfer to marina (just 20 mins, or 1,000 baht), as we didn't use pool, we didn't use transfer to the airport - the answer of that lady was very straightforward and crude: "No. Transfer is for airport only". 3. Checkout process. It was the longest checkout I have ever experienced in my life in more than 30 countries. They tried to accuse us that we had stolen the coffee cup from one room. After 10 minutes, we went to the room by ourselves - all two cups were there. Then they tried to accuse us that we had stolen two tea spoons from another room... 4. Check-in process. We arrived by 11am after longhaul flight plus spending some more time trying to locate the driver in the airport (the hotel transfer is not allowed to enter waiting area just outside the airport). I understand that check-in time is 2pm, but usually, even during the high season, the hotels manage to arrange at least one room earlier. And we specifically asked to inform us if at least one of three booked rooms is available at least 1 hour earlier, as one of our kids is just 2 y.o. and it was too challenging to wait 2pm for napping on hot weather without even pool or beach The answer of that lady was crude and straightforward: "No. Check-in time is 2pm". And we are 100% sure that the hotel was not overbooked, and there were available rooms. 5. Breakfasts. Every morning, at least one guest is complaining that the food has finished. Even local fruits are very limited... 6. Room service. Overall, everything is clean. However, I should agree with other reviews that fresh water, tea and shower amenities are often forgotten to be refilled. 7. Just a small top of this. There seems no anti-mosquito treatment in the hotel. There are plenty of mosquitoes everywhere, including the rooms. So, for overnight short stay just before/ after departure/ arrival from/ to Phuket airport, the hotel is affordable. But for longer stay not recommenced at all. Especially, for families with children.

No one spoke enough English to explain where the ride from the airport was. This became much more of a problem when at 9:30 at night I fell from the raised, ill lit, safety rail less walkway. A call to the front desk for assistance and a doctor got the reply "No doctor... morning" After a very uncomfortable night, front desk apparently knew nothing of the accident. Asked to speak to someone who spoke English, a house keeper and 5 giggling maids appeared. 2 hours later after many pointless protestations I paramedics arrived. Strapped me to a gurney and a 25 minute rise under siren to hospital. 6 hours later, xrayed, splinted, on crutches phoned to ask my luggage be sent by taxi to a hotel I found near the hospital. Either they didn't understand or just wouldn't. A 2 hours round trip to personally collect luggage. Asked to complain to a manager "owner bangkok" given an email address no reply 7 days on. If you're going to stay take a torch, someone who speaks Thai and a lucky rabbits foot. The Sirinat Park used to be lovely. Now full of domestic refuse and scavenging dogs. Red flags suggest you might go into the sea but might never get out.

Exceeded my expectations. We are from the US and visiting family in Phuket. They recommended Naiyang Park Resort and it does not disappoint. Luxuriously appointed rooms, immaculately kept. The facilities are spotless and well maintained. The pool is huge and by far one of the cleanest, most elegant I’ve ever encountered. Infinity style with all tile. The fitness facilities are comprehensive. Two treadmills, two ellipticals, free weight dumbbells, large, multipurpose Matrix cable system, free weights and smith machine (my only small knock, as I prefer a rack, but I understand the Smith makes more sense from a liability perspective). Boss Bar attached to hotel is excellent. They have live music but the bungalows are far enough away that you aren’t disturbed. Extremely private feel and quiet. Everything is very modern and spotless. I had one small issue with some sort of power disruption to one half of our bungalow. I reported it to the front desk staff. He was exceedingly apologetic and the engineer was on-site in 5 minutes and had it fixed in 15 (tiny blown fuse). This was all at 9:30 pm and just reinforced my positive experience; maintenance issues like that can happen anywhere but such prompt attention is rare. I don’t get to Thailand as much as I would like but will absolutely stay here again, given the chance.
