Travellers' Choice
Perfectly situated on the foreshore overlooking the inviting waters of Hervey Bay, the Torquay Beachfront Caravan Park is smack bang in the heart of one of Hervey Bay's most vibrant areas.Located right on the beach, it's a fabulous place to wet a line or have a summer paddle, sit on the beach, or have a beachside barbeque. You can walk, cycle or rollerblade the length of Hervey Bay along our 14 kilometre scenic paved pathway that meanders the Esplanade. Stroll across the street and you'll have your pick of shops, hotels, cafes and restaurants. The park offers booking facilities and bus pick-up for Fraser Island Tours (year round), Lady Elliot Island Tours (year round)and Whale Watch Trips (July-November).You won't be short of things to do with the beach, barbeques, beautiful weather and fishing buddies galore to keep you busy.

Had 4 nights here this week and it was great. Tricky site to get into but Manager came and helped and got the van in first go just by listening to his suggestions. Happy days when the vans in front left and we had some stunning water views for the last few days. Beautiful water, great cafes around, saw heaps of whales on the boat trip (we got picked up and dropped back at the gate of the cp). Def one to put on the ‘visit again’ list. Thanks team!

This past Friday we battled the traffic 😫 up the coast to our destination: Hervey Bay. After surviving the insane storm on Friday night 🌪, we spent the rest of the weekend riding our bikes, watching the ocean and eating out. We barely cooked a meal so I’d probably classify it as glamping 💁🏼‍♀️👌🏽✨ We booked at the last minute so didn’t have the choice of sites but we have a great time no matter we are and this time was no different 😄 🗣 Shoutout to caretakers Varee and Bruce. They do an amazing job and are so helpful and friendly. On Friday night (9pm) when the storm hit, Bruce raced out of the house in his PJs and helped hold onto our gazebo while the tornado 🌪 passed through 🙏🏼 A massive thank you to Bruce. A bit of info about the park: 🌊 Beachfront 🤏🏽 Sites are quite close together 🚽 We found the amenities block quite good 🧺 Laundry facilities (probably coin operated) 🚰 Camp kitchen (inc free BBQs and fridge) 🍽 Lots of restaurants and takeaways to choose from 🚤 Boat ramp next door 🎣 Jetty or beach fishing 📱 Good reception ❌ No fires 🐶 No animals 💲 $54.50/night powered site

Susann and I have been coming here for years and truly love this place. The last couple of weeks have been magical. The Management are great and very helpful not only at checkin but also when reversing our Caravan. Pete was great with saving my marriage when reversing the Caravan. Nothing is a problem for them always happy to help out and do their best to accommodate where they can. Keep up the great work guys!

This Caravan Patk is just in it to collect cans they need to spend more time in keeping the park clean with cleaning the showers and toilets. They are disgusting. What about instead of can collecting time is also put to raking up the leaves on the ground.

Great location opposite shops and a great view on beachfront sites. Our beachfront site was very tight and did not have a car space. We were not informed of this at the time of booking so our car had to be left near the office. Not convenient at all. We paid extra to obtain a beachfront site and our site was shaded by a large tree which made it quite cool to sit under awning at this time of year. Would be great in summer no doubt. We found the staff friendly but some of the regular quests were not. It was almost like we were intruding on their park! They would gather their chairs around and completely block the way to the amenities. Wouldn’t even acknowledge with a hello which by the way is free. Not friendly at all. Quite disappointing and wouldn’t return.
