Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The park was absolutely fantastic and is situated right on the beach. Managers Justin and Megan were sensational, very approachable and helpful. It has a mainly level bike track out the front which can take you to town or if you like further up the coast to the beaches. We will be back for sure 👍👍

This was our first time in Hervey Bay and this park and we really enjoyed our time here. Park mangers are lovely and the park was well maintained, bathrooms whilst older was extremely clean . Our site was just on the water but was under a big tree with birds and bats which did make a mess of car and van, but we would definitely stay again just not in section 8 sites 2-5, would ask for sections A - F when we come back

This was not our first stay at this park, we love coming to Torquay beachfront Caravan park. This time around though we were in an unpowered site, which we would normally have coped with but our site was under these massive trees. Between the bats, lorikeets, half chewed figs and chasing the sun constantly with the solar panel, our stay wasn't as pleasant as before. We love the proximity to the beach, but its not a park i would recommend for young families as there is nothing to do for the little ones, no bikes allowed and no playgrounds, you have to go offsite for kid friendly activities, retirees perfect park..... Saying this we will be back, but will book earlier to get a better site......

Perfect location, facilities well maintained. We did have some issues with our booking and account but Megan was great in sorting this out for us. The park is kept in great order. We did have to move mid stay but that did allow us to have a beachfront site for the whole stay.

This is not our first stay here but we love it because it is within walking distance to most things we need such as groceries, coffee, dining, parks, beach and water. It is easy for our extended family to meet here and everyone has something to do. The managers are great and do a fantastic job of keeping the park clean and tidy. The facilities are aging but they are kept clean.

Just returned from our 6 nights at the park. I was lucky enough to book a cancellation they had for Christmas-New year period. From my initial call with Megan to our check in, Megan and Justin are very hands on and friendly Managers. Justin assisted us backing into our site and we always saw them walking around the park checking on guests and amenities. We were on site 14B one row back from the beach, it was lovely hearing the ocean at night. The weather was a bit overcast and extremely windy while we were there so be prepared to tie down annexes (the man behind us broke his annexe during a storm the night before we arrived). Toilet and shower facilities are older but extremely clean and we never had to wait for showers. The park location is fantastic right in the heart of Torquay with an easy walk to lots of eateries, shops and a small Foodstore for grocery items. The park is going to be redeveloped in the next few years as part of Fraser Coast Council caravan park redevelopment. If you walk/ride to Scarness you will see the caravan park there which has undergone stage 1 so if that is anything to go by then the Torquay park will look amazing once completed. We had a great week and would definitely return.

We had an amazing stay at this park. Justin and Megan were lovely to deal with during the booking process. Justin checked us in and guided us to our site and directed us when parking the van. Much appreciated. We went through a wild storm, the next morning they were out checking on everyone’s welfare. The park is right on the foreshore and once the wind died down we were able to bob around in the gorgeous calm waters, just metres from the van. Facilities are old yet very clean, well maintained and had everything we needed. Only steps to shops and restaurants. We were lucky enough to enjoy our stay during pre Christmas week, the family across from us celebrating their 40th + year in a row, we can see why.

Beautiful little family holiday park. Perfect for those that want a quiet time away! We loved the access to the beach and listening to the waves lapping on the shore at night. The kids could play on the beach while we picnic on the grass up the top. It was heaven.
