We had an amazing 2 day stay in Mill barn. The cottage was very clean (especially for being dog friendly), had amazing views down to the reservoir, a perfect private garden very dog friendly and the bonus of a massive hot tub. We did not venture out in the car as there were great walks on the door step. The...

We stayed in Ash Cottage in October and it was fantastic, a real cozy retreat for two black Labradors and their humans! Fresh flowers, coffee and gorgeous chocolate cake not to mention doggie treats were waiting for us. Absolutely spotlessly clean and the bed was the most comfortable ever slept in. So keen to light the log burning stove we...

This was our second visit to Tottergill Farm Holiday Cottages but this time we stayed in a larger cottage , Low Mill. This cottage had an interesting split level layout and great views out over the surrounding countryside from the kitchen/dining room. The central heating was warm enough but the added bonus of a log burner in the lounge made...

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Tottergill farm. I couldn't recommend highly enough, from the moment we arrived we had a lovely time. The cottage (Gill) was beautiful with fabulous views; exceptionally well maintained. We were welcomed with cake from the local bakery, fresh flowers and fudge, it just added that little bit extra. Each night,...

After much searching for a dog friendly cottage for Colin, our Cairn Terrier's annual holiday, that also had a hot tub for my husband, I found Tottergill cottages and what a find.... Great location in Cumbria, not far from Carlisle, wonderful views from every angle and some good walks. The cottage was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, and the owners...
