There must have been a change of management at this hotel because it’s really gone downhill since we last stayed. It’s a difficult area to find a good mid-range, mid-price hotel in and in previous visits they’d had it cracked. It used to have a great menu, extensive, eclectic and very well cooked. The rooms are good enough and the...

A small hotel and Restaurant located within walking distance of the centre of Attleborough. Clean and tidy bedrooms and a comfortable restaurant. Restaurant menu is restricted but good quality using local ingredients. On site parking. Good facilities for small business meetings or a useful overnight stay if visiting the area for business.

We stayed here with a 1 year old and really just wanted a quiet night, with a decent breakfast in the morning. On both fronts, they delivered. What made it really stand out was the personal touches which were offered, even though the hosts were busy. Doris, one of the owners, contacted us after the trip to say that some...

This was our first stay at Sherbourne House, to be honest the welcome could have been warmer and as we had asked for a quiet room we did ask the question about the road noise being that our room was located at the front of the house but we were assured it wouldn't bother us at night. However it did,...

Was informed when picking up key that I could not sit downstairs , but could eat outside at table and chairs (full) but couldn't serve me hot food as per restaurant menu. Picked up key and went to room , noise from...

We stayed a couple of nights with young children, and clearly had a wonderful stay. A peaceful and convenient place! We also enjoyed some diners, and clearly recommend it to everyone enjoying fresh and on the spot properly cooked food with a nice wine. If manners make a difference, then the way we have been treated must be praised: everybody...

We arrived at about 9pm and Ellie the receptionist was delightful and made us feel very welcome. As this is a small hotel with only 8 guest rooms the staff have to multi task and after we had unpacked Ellie served us drinks in the conservatory and stayed to chat with us telling us a bit about the local area....

We took two rooms for 4 nights. Very comfortable rooms and beds with attentive, unobtrusive staff. Good choice at breakfast. En suite bathrooms well appointed but showers in rooms 3 and 4 were not up to much and therefore made use of the baths and excess water. Mentioned issues with the showers to the staff but not fixed during our...

I stayed here for one night whilst visiting family. The hotel is in a great location from the station (only a five minute walk) and the local town (10 minute walk). The hotel is beautiful and has very modern amenities whilst still respecting the period of the house. Lovely bathroom and toiletries. The rooms were spotlessly clean and welcoming, and...
