I didn't stay there myself but recommended it for a couple of friends visiting from New Zealand in Dec 2016. They were delighted with their stay, they were very well looked after by the owners, they were very happy with their room, said it was totally French and charming, and very comfortable, and were impressed by the massive, delicious and...

Hostellerie du Prieure is run by Yves Farouze and his charming wife Frederique. The rooms are a good size and well appointed. Yves has run Michelin starred restaurants all over the world and the cuisine here is of a high standard. Only 25KM from Paris St Prix is an ideal location to explore the l'Oise and Vexin areas. We meet up with my wife's French family. We travel several times to France a year and we are seasoned travellers abroad. We booked 3 rooms , all ok apart from the things not working , like TV's heaters , lights , locks etc. You always try to make the best of it but never been anywhere were you turn...

We were on a Van Gogh pilgrimage . The reviews enticed us to this hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We dined on the Saturday night-excellent menu and choice of wines at reasonable prices; a comfortable night in the Safari suite - a 4 posted- décor was sympathetic to the title of the room and thankfully, there was air...

I stayed here for a couple of nights with my dog, en route to Limoges. Both me and my dog were mad to feel very welcome by Frederique and her husband. They were both kind and hospitable. Frederique kept me supplied with different types of white wine, which are all organic. My dog was allowed in the restaurant, all the...

A lovely welcome from the owner made us feel at home. We had a beautiful room with a lovely comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant which has a fantastic menu and once again, the hosts were great company and made us feel so welcome. The village of Saint Prix is very pretty with great views of the Paris skyline....

We have just returned from a fine couple of days and nights in the Pompadour Suite. We still delude ourselves that we can enjoy the good life with our infant daughter with us, but there was much to savour here. A jolly proprietor and his dear wife who take great pride in preparing very fine french cuisine, accompanied by excellent...

I stayed in the gorgeous hotel because of its location in a quiet village type location, full of old world charm, and right near Montmorency Forest. I wanted to be able to relax in a quiet area, and yet not miss out on the allure of Paris. It's got the best of both worlds; closeness to a stunning rural landscape,...

We had a fantastic dinner and nights stay here. Lovely dinner and a great brekkie, great people, who were both welcoming and interesting. I would highly recommend Hostellerie Du Prieure and am looking forward to a return visit.

The welcome was thorough but not particularly friendly by a young member of staff who later waited at the dinner table. The room was comfortable and well-sized. Dinner was very good and included wine advice from the owner. Dining room/restaurant was quite small with about six tables quite close together. Nowhere to relax or have coffee after the meal other...
