The Blue Pearl Kata Hotel was a very comfortable little boutique hotel, centrally located between Kata Beach & Karon Beach. Conveniently it's just across the street from the Kata Night Market where we shopped and dined the whole time we were there. They also had a very nice breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We were originally in the newer part of the hotel but the patio door wouldn't seal and the door whistled constantly, so we asked to be moved. We were moved to the older (I think) part of the hotel above the breakfast area. The room was larger but didn't have a telephone! Although we were just above the Night Market, the rooms were very well insulated and we didn't hear much noise from the market. The A/C worked great although the bathrooms were interesting - a shower but with no divider or shower curtain, so you learned right away NOT to leave your dry clothes or towel sitting on the toilet or sink!! Still, a very comfortable room.

I stayed for one night here, because I want to enjoy Kata beach. Its only 10 mins from hotel. Really convenient, then around hotel is a night market and many restaurants.

I like their consistency in designing every room, they also have laundry area which is really helpful for traveler.

Their price really worth, you can enjoy their breakfast with many variant menu. Thank you for your warm services ! Will recommend !

The room was okay and the location was good. We stayed for a month but what really spoilt it were the staff who were less than helpful. For most of the time there were three staff sat behind ther front desk always playing with their phones and certainly not prepared to go out of their way to help. They were unable to help even with the most simple of requests like a Iron or a few clothes hangers or to print a flight ticket. Also the cleaners were extremely noisy shouting to each other early in the morning outside our door which was annoying. Swimming pool very small and the decking around the pool was in bad repair

Started off with our electricity going out within 15 minutes of walking in our room. Called front desk (which by the way rings off the hook most times you call) who came up and saw it was out and ran down stairs asking us to wait a moment... 45 minutes later sitting in the dark (it was 8pm) and humid room we had power again... only now we could see how dirty our room was. The walls were disgusting, we actually found toilet paper stuck to the wall in the bathroom. Not to mention our a/c was horrible. Had it at the lowest possible setting and it still felt stale in the rooms. (Mind you we’re from Arizona and can handle the heat.) The ONLY reason I give this 2/5 is for decent location with 10 minute walk to the beach. We wish we’d found somewhere else and done a little more research first.

You get what you pay for and sometimes not even that.
The location made it so that it was difficult to fall asleep due to the loud street partying.
The AC stopped working and couldn't be fixed with remote.
The bright lights from the street went through the curtains.
If anyone can sleep through noise, lights and being hot and sweaty this is your place!!

We booked two rooms here. Although they were very spacious & have a fridge/tea making facilities, the air con was old & noisy, furniture very shabby (actually had a water bottle lid screwed on as a drawer handle) and the laminate flooring is broken & lifting. The rooms are above a busy night market which is good to experience but very noisy. Swimming pool was closed but we were given the option to use another in a hotel nearby.

This hotel is clean and offers very good value. The room is clean and simply but nicely furnished. The pool is small but has a good view from an upper floor. Right outside the hotel there are many bars and restaurants and the beach is just a short stroll away.

We enjoyed staying here for the week. Great staff, lovely breakfast, air conditioning, free wifi and water, 2 roof top pools and a short walk to Kata night markets and the beach.
We had some issues with my room so when I talked to reception staff about it, it was rectified.
The hotel is clean and a beautiful place to stay.

This small hotel has everything you need. Clean and tidy, welcoming staff not expensive and close to supermarkets, night markets, restaurants, bars and beach. Everything is just next to you at les than 1min walk apart from the beach about 5min walk.

My family stayed at the Blue Pearl Kata Hotel 22~27 Dec 2023. We loved this hotel, due to its strategic location (at the heart of Kata Walking Street Night Market - lots of eat!), short/easy walk to Kata Beach, reasonable room pricing and cleanliness ... and friendly staff.

I pre-organised a private car to pick us up and drop us back at the airport - it wasn't that expensive and got us there about as quick as you can (sometimes the traffic is not too good but that would be the same no matter what mode of transport you use!) There are a lot of vendors selling airport transfers at the airport but I haven't used any of them before and the advertised prices seemed only slightly cheaper to what I had paid before I left home.
