Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This a beautiful hotel - the grounds and gardens are stunning; and the second cabana pool was especially relaxing. Spotlessly clean. Staff were very pleasant and eager to help, although one day we came back after 4 pm from the beach and our room hadn't been cleaned. Some were more confident than others with English. I feel like maybe they recently did some renovations - we stayed in the room closest to the restaurant and other reviewers said it was noisy - we didn't hear a thing? I do agree that the garden view rooms are very dark and next time we would upgrade to the cabana or the suites, but they are certainly big enough for 2 people; air conditioned perfectly; small patio at the front of the room. Breakfast was standard hotel fare. Good location to walk to night markets; restuarants; massages etc and the hotel runs a shuttle bus hourly to Kata Beach. It wasn't a long walk if you walk along the beach front (in front of Club Med).

Wow! What an amazing hotel. Hard to sum up in words. A Truly magical experience staying in the Baray Villa which is a huge palatial two storey villa with jacuzzi and private pool access. Biggest bed I’ve ever seen and huge free standing bath tub and rainfall shower. The grounds are exquisite and everywhere you look you find some new part that is decorated so ornately with either elephants or Buddhas or Thai designs. The 3 swimming pools are serene and flow beautifully through the property and greenery and nature mixed with magical statues and giant pots and waterfalls give a the place an Arabian/thai/eygtian feel. It truly is a quiet beautiful oasis in the middle of busy hectic Kata. Lovely to return to after shopping or a massage or sight seeing and as soon as you walk through the entrance you are relaxed and chilled out. Just overall an amazing stay. Thank you

Almost everything is perfect at this hotel All staff are exceptional Gardens and nightime lighting are unbelievable making it so special Food very good both for breakfast and dinner My only gripe was pool area not enough sun loungers for amount of guests saw plenty of disappointment from people when non were available there was evidence of towel a reserving practice our 2nd hotel applied a 30 minute ruling which worked for everyone’s benefit We stayed in a garden room which we found too small and very dark Would recommend upgrading to the cabana rooms

Chose this hotel due to being a little different than most, we’ll it’s probably the most stunning hotel I’ve ever stayed at, a little oasis of calm in the heart of Kata! Stunning architecture and serious eye to detail in its calm! Beautiful pool access room, just gorgeous, massive comfy bed, big fridge, the tallest rain shower ever, the whole place changes from day to night, day no more you’ll see!! Breakfast superb such a fabulous choice, all the staff are seriously great, such a credit to the hotel, especially the breakfast egg chefs, so lovely, and the Front of house boys and our beach bus guy, you both made our day! So funny and charming, Hotel food also exceptional, best chicken/basil ever, local to try too, Mustache across the road with great live jazz, fab cheeseboards and beautiful wine selection, please try it, also try ‘Eightfold’ just down the road before the traffic lights, superb family run Thai restaurant, thankyou everyone we had an amazing time with you🙏🙏

Beautiful place, very pretty at night with lots of twinkling lights everywhere. It’s a tranquil setting with friendly staff who are very helpful,. It’s clean, well maintained, has a lovely pool area, shuttle service to beach is great. Restaurant is good, but there’s a fabulous restaurant almost opposite the hotel called eightfold which has amazing food and the best value.

Beautiful and well maintained hotel. All staff are hardworking, welcoming, kind and happy to help. The cabana rooms and pool are incredible. The food in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner is very nice and reasonably priced. The hotel staff surprised me with a birthday cake and card and remembered my birthday which was incredible !

A beautiful hotel. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The rooms are like nothing we have ever been in before. The attention to detail and the artwork is breathtaking. It looks even more amazing at night with all the beautiful lighting. This is definitely a highlight of our stay in Thailand.

This hotel was magical 🌙 During the day the atmosphere and the surroundings were so calm and tranquil, an escape from the busy surrounding area. During the evening the hotel lights us and just felt so peaceful and magical! We stayed in the oasis suite and it was beyond what we could have expected! It was a perfect room, amazing 4 poster bed, different lighting options, the tallest shower and own little peaceful garden front. The staff are so welcoming and happy to help! This hotel is 100x better than the pictures - it really is a magical little village!

Loved our stay here! The staff were super friendly! The facilities were very clean and housekeeping was very quick and efficient! The bed was comfortable! The room has a few small design flaws like an oversized bath in the middle of the bathroom that limits a bit of movement in the bathroom. Our room had a humming noise that kept us up, and the aircon whenever we put it below 22 degrees somehow reset itself up to 27degree and instead of cooling down it warmed the room up! The aircon also dripped a bit of water from the ceiling. Toiletries were lovely. Gym was a bit small for me. SPA was beautiful! Absolutely loved my massages. The hotel is in a very friendly area as well. Found a bit overpriced to ask for 1000 baht for 1 additional hour for late check out, 2k for 2 hours and anymore than that they charge 9400 or so which is a bit pricey! Food menu and beverage prices were reasonable. This is also a hotel where you find tourists that are in town to party and enjoy, and not only looking for relaxation!

Thank you for staying with us and for your feedback. We’re always striving to continuously improve and your feedback helps us do so! Regarding late check-out fees. It is 1k THB per hour up until 2PM. However, if the guest wishes to stay for longer, we are required to block the room for the whole day as the room can no longer be sold due to the fact that we guarantee check-in by 2PM. Hence, the full-day rate is charged for late check-outs after 2PM. Thank you for your feedback and understanding.
