Very interesting hotel lobby that is open on the street & feels very different! Especially that the street is really a live: Restaurants, bars, Shops, Money Exchange, Seven Eleven (Grocery which also sells sim cards), massage outlets, beauty salons and finally street night market just few minutes walk.
The team were very nice and friendly, we were very tired after a very long flight with kids with jet-lag, we couldn’t wait to see a bed, they helped us check-in very early (of-course they mentioned it is not common but subject to availability but guess we were lucky). We got the OZO suite on the corner of highest floor which is very specious has an amazing panoramic window and balcony overlooking both the garden and the pool areas. We were 2 adults + 2 kids (2 & 7 years old) so they provided extra bed in addition to the existing sofa in the living room. It is also worth it to mention how comfortable the beds were! Like you dive in dreams without even realizing how much you slept!
The pool area is very cozy and nice with good number of sun beds, there is 3 pools, big standard, big slider pool, and baby pool. In addition to a play area for kids. Our Kids and ourselves enjoyed all of them.
Kata Beach is walking distance and it was really nice as you take your towels from hotel and use a special gate in the backside to access closest point.
I’d love if in the future they consider Halal Meat for muslim travelers but to be honest their (EAT restaurant) offers enough variety of meals that we could eat such as Salads, Pizzas, Pastas & Seafood and not forget the refreshing virgin mocktails. The staff of restaurant were also very friendly and patient. Breakfast had also enough options for Halal Travelers like Egg live station, waffles and pan cakes, serials for kids, fresh fruits and some pastry.
We didn’t try grill nights due to Halal food availability but seems the atmosphere was amazing as they had live music during dinners so for those who are not having halal food restrictions you’ll enjoy it for sure!
We recommend you book online direct via their website (and make sure you enroll in their onyx loyalty program before you book to guarantee best rates and get some extras like complimentary lunch or dinner)
Overall our experience at OZO was wonderful and we’ll for sure recommend it to all of our friends planning to visit Kata Beach.

This was easily the best of the 5 hotels we were staying during this trip (Surat Thani, Krabi, Phuket). The hotel is modern, well maintained and everything is clean. Service level and the staff attitude feels 5 star (even though the hotel is 4 star). Every concern or issue we have experienced was resolved by the staff quickly and in a professional manner. We really felt like having a vacation here - didn't have to worry about anything. Breakfast is full buffet and variety is good. I personally would love to see some more non-vegetarian Thai food options but it was good enough as is. WiFi was good and stable enough. There are not so many options to eat nearby, but the restaurant in the hotel itself has enough options of both Thai and Western food. The Kata beach is within a 5-minute walk and it's good for swimming or watching the sunset.
Currently the prices are reduced because of the COVID situation and now the hotel offers awesome value for money. Would totally stay here again!

The hotel is in a great location and does most things ok. It is very clean beds, linen are great. Pool is very nice staff are excellent. However it just lets down by being cheap in some areas. The water pressure/shower was terrible. The water took a long time to get hot, then you had to keep adjusting as water would not stay hot or cold. It wS a very bad shower due to water pressure. The cupboards/drawers are very cheap and do not open/close properly; they are out of alignment so that you had to push/pull them to open/close. There is no minibar at all ?? There is an empty mini fridge stuck inside an empty cupboard which gets so hot because the fridge motor has no circulation; perhaps tjis is why when we put some water in the fridge it did not go cold.
Pool area is very good and kids slide great fun. However Food and drinks at pool bar are over priced. What was so interesting to watch was many people brought their food refreshments to the pool area as 7/11 is across road from pool/hotel 150 metres away.
So pool bar/restaurant makes very little when it could thrive by being more competitively priced. Airconditioner did not adequately cool bedroom took hours to cool down and yes l know how to set it properly. I was disappointed with this hotel l feel it eants to charge at 4.5 star prices but delivers 3.5 back.

This resort nicely locates at Kata beach area, and can offer you unique advantage to quickly switch between relaxation on the beach and local street activities for shopping, restaurants and massages. The hotel owns playing pool and water slide for little kids and and separate swimming pool. We booked two rooms for family, and the hotel organized us these two room in neighbor and a connecting door in between, so we could use these two rooms similar to a suite. The rooms we stayed have beautiful balconies with very good view in the central garden. The beds are quite comfortable for my whole family from our kid to 70+ year old grandma. Beside that the room are quiet and with sufficient blackout curtains to ensure a good sleep no matter you want to rest in the day or in the night. The staff are well trained and always quickly response to guests. We enjoyed our stay so much, and we decided to extend our booking at this hotel from 5 days to 10 days to throughly experience the good time here.

Great hotel for kids, the waterslide keeps the kids entertained all day while you lay by the pool. Staff go out of their way to accommodate, they make the whole PCR testing easy and smooth and nothing is too much trouble. Beach is 100m walk and the first restaurant as you walk out back date makes great food. Breakfast has lots of choices. Rooms are very new and clean. Only negative I booked a two bedroom family deluxe and from the pictures it looked like an apartment but is two rooms joined together. Might be cheaper to book one bedroom if travelling with kids. I would definitely come back to this hotel and Kata beach my new favourite place in Phuket.

We felt a very warm welcome as soon as we arrived. Despite being a 4 star hotel they exceeded the expectations. All staff from the lobby, pool bar to housekeeper were all friendly and helpful. We stayed in OZO Suite which is the highest room type, and we didn't want to leave the room! It was very spacious, cozy and cleaned. The only complaint we had was the water temperature was a bit unstable. Plus, it would be great if they could add toothbrush/toothpaste and maybe 4 bottles of water per day instead of 2. The location is very convenient and close to everything. There is a 7-eleven nearby and even a pharmacy in Watsons next to the lobby. Distance from Kata Beach is only 2-3 mins away by foot from the hotel's private beach gate. We really enjoyed our stay here in OZO Phuket. Highly recommended.

The hotel is new, clean and in a great location right by Kata Beach and along a strip with lots of shopping, tour operators and restaurants. Breakfast was decent and they tried to vary it a little throughout the 3 weeks we were there. Our room had a separate little room with bunk beds for the kids, which was perfect for us. The area was very busy when we were there even though we heard that Phuket in general was dealing with a tourism slump from a lack of Chinese tourists because of the Coronavirus. Our friends who stayed along other beaches in Phuket said food and souvenir prices in Kata were very good.

Visited Phuket the second time with family. On the recommendation of our trusted tour operator Mr Chai from PhuketBestTours, stayed at the Oxo Phuket hotel. Best decision that we made. The rooms were squeaky clean, the restaurant manager went out of his way to arrange halaal options for us at breakfast, children had a blast in the 3 pools and water slides, 5 min walking distance from Kata beach and most importantly the ever helpful and hospitable staff. Shout out to Mr Naan, Ms Khing, Miss Fon and Mr Sky! Thank you for making our stay a memorable one :)
