I have stayed in this B&B twice now. It is situated immediately off the A39 - conveniently situated for access to the Quantocks & Exmoor. It is quiet and comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. Jenny & Dave are very welcoming, helpful and caring - nothing is too much trouble.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast, rooms were clean and spacious, the location was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious! Owners were friendly, and the flexibility to come and go as we needed was ideal! Would definitely return again!

My daughter and I walked the Coleridge Way (80 km) beginning with an overnight stay with Jenny and Dave at Merrywood B&B. It was the perfect start to the exercise, with wonderfully helpful and welcoming hospitality. Huge rooms in a quiet and restful location; a good English breakfast, and a well stocked lunch box to take on our first day’s...

We really enjoyed our overnight stay in this little bed and breakfast. Our room was comfortable and the ensuite bathroom very good. Note for those who have allergy problems: there was no carpet in the room which is a rare find in England. Breakfast was excellent and it was very useful to have a fridge at your disposal. Dave and...

Friends of mine and myself stayed at Merrywood B and B twice this year May and July. We were so pleased with the size of our rooms, they are huge, spotlessly clean at a very reasonable price. Huge breakfast, enough to keep you going all day. Beautiful garden and David and Jenny also have ducks and chickens so therefore let you...

Stayed here as a family, staying in 3 rooms. We arrived early as we wanted to get changed for a nearby wedding. They could not have been more accomodating and made us feel very welcome. The bedrooms were enormous in size and were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Everything had been thought of, wine glasses, cork screw and plenty of coffee...

14 of us stayed at Merrywood in early September and Jenny and David were hospitable and accommodating to a fault! The breakfast was fantastic and the setup here is great and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this B&B in Nether Stowey

We only stayed for one night but the owners could not have been more helpful or made us feel more welcome. They went out of their way to accommodate for our two young children. Our trip would not have run as smoothly without their help.
