I recently hosted a corporate event at The Marion. The venue is really gorgeous, a boutique hotel that has an amazing cafe bistro set up for small intimitate functions. Decor was stunning and the food was excellent , hats off to the chef. Now for the bad part, which despite all of the above , any great establishment is defined...

I stayed here before - 1 year ago. More than happy to return for a follow up visit. Very spacious and clean rooms with inclusive wi-fi (a MUST). Very friendly staff. If you don't know Jhb and plan to drive to the hotel by car from the airport - make sure to get a GPS included in the car rental...

My husband and I like to plan a monthly weekend getaway - just some quite quality us time. We have stayed at many Jhb hotels over the last few months. However the pics on the website are not a true reflection - the bathroom was tiny and there is an option to indulge in a luxury bath with added bath...

The hotel is very well appointed, modern, tidy. There are plenty of staff around. The food was great in particular the lamb rack. It is slow though...very very slow. This wasn't a one off. We stayed for a few days. The showers are the high mounted rain drop type. Great if you want to get your hair wet every day,...

This hotel had a nice ambiance and decor with great breakfast in the morning, but lost points for me with their hotel staff. Front desk is unprofessional and un-polite. Very stoic actually. Our room keys were not working when we arrived and the woman on staff didn't really try hard to get us into the room. In addition, we were...

Beautiful boutique hotel. Stylish and professional. Friendly staff provided great service. Great spot for a quiet business lunch. Smallish menu to choose from, but enough variety for all tastes. Oxtail and Salmon comes highly recommended. Will be back

The beautifully furnished boutique hotel is stylish and has relaxed ambience. We went there for year end lunch with colleagues. The kingklip I ordered was not properly cooked, was sushi'ed. Found the supposed 2 smallish saffron prawns a let down. The dessert made up somewhat for the dull main. Rather order the oxtail or duck, generous meaty portion. Very tasty...

Comfortable, well appointed rooms. Two restaurants to choose from; one grand and expensive; the other functional with regular fare. The lounge is a centrally located place to meet business clients. Its only about 8 minutes drive from Sandton City. Service is good. Rooms can be pricey - so you should enquire from the Reception Desk about their specially discounted offers....

Well the hotel looks so fabulous and did enjoy the chilling at the lounge with my friend, besides on being disappointed at the reception staff, which is the Indian lady was shouting at this other lady and judging from the situation, she looks like shes on training. I really felt sorry for her as she seem to do her best on making...

The best thing about this hotel is the decor. The food is terrible. Also it advertises free breakfast but that's not true. The Management is doing it's best to take all it can from the client but gives the minimum! Location not too convenient if you are not driving and they will tell you they have free shuttle to Sandton...
