It was a remarkable place where you could relax with the waves and escape from the city. At the same time, you can have so much fun by doing activities such as speed boat riding, snorkeling, and many more. The staff and people are very accommodating and friendly as well and your stay will be worth it.
We came from Matabungkay Beach where we stayed one night in a resort which was cozy nice. See my other review. That's a place that is an "ulit place". The reservation process at Stilts was overall ok. Responsive sales office and attentive to the Covid requirements and needs for safe vacationing. The entrance and all is impressive. A big 24 acre compound no doubt but only partly developed yet. The cabins on stilts are nice and offer a great view to the sunset and Mindoro island. There are 8. Not for 2 people though. Only bigger groups. Then there are a number of kubo cabins along the beach. With nice interior. Ours was “Passion”. A 2-person cabin right at the water. Cute. Meaning cute but small. 12m2? But OK. Nicely finished inside. Warm shower. Own toilet etc. Comfortable bed. Right at the beach. Which gets me to the beach. Rocks in front of us. And shallow rocky for a long way. Not a nice swimming beach for adults really but great for kids as there are many sandy patches also. Later we figured that adult swimming maybe more possible at the “Destiny Beach” area. This lack of sea swimming is mostly compensated by great pools. One at the restaurant area and one near our cabin. Called Infinity. For the size of Stilts they are impressive swimming pools. Nice water, big and clean. The restaurant is ok. I am a Westerner. The pizza...nah. But we eat 2 dinners, 3 lunches and overall OK. We liked the pasta sweet chillies and the salads are good too. The atmosphere is cozy outside on the terrace. Inside for me too much canteen, big group-like. It was not too busy during our midweek stay and staff was very friendly and attentive quickly in the restaurant area. The breakfast was good. Good choices and safe. Surprisingly busy. I think this place lives up to its name to be a "must see" if one can afford. But it can be "seen" in one night overstay. 6K per night is pretty hefty to stay longer. …
It was a nice place. The staffs are very accommodating and friendly! We stayed in a floating cottage, and it is very nice. The sunset view as well as the sea breeze are amazing! You can also play sungka there with your family or friends.
Good: Friendly staff Clean and spacious cottage/villa Scenic views White sand beach Ok breakfast Affordable souvenir items Bad: Wifi (only 1mbps with 1GB/day limit); not reliable for remote work Pizza (tortilla crust)
When I first visited this place during our company outing in 2017, I promised myself that I would bring my family here someday. This year, that promise was fulfilled. My kids loved the huge, clean pools with water that didn't hurt their eyes, the clean beach, and the well-maintained playground. I love the clean rooms, the super-friendly staff, the picturesque flower shrubs everywhere, the water containers in the rooms, the outdoor towel racks and beach chairs, the souvenir shops where the merchandise are not overpriced, and the (also picturesque) parking lot very near the beach houses. We will definitely come back, by next year if not sooner!
