We have a caravan and stayed on a powered sight. Reception was very friendly and informative. We loved the caravan park and had never seen facilities like these. We generally get a private ensuite site but Warrawong does not have these so we got a powered site. The facilities were spacious clean and modern. Generally when we have used caravan park amenities our clothes get wet while we are having a shower and there is not much space to shower. This place was the exception. We did not miss having a private ensuite site. The park is well maintained and green whereas the countryside around is quite barren. Friends stayed in a cabin and told us how comfortable and spotless it was. We will always go back there

We have always avoided stopping at Wilcannia as we have only heard disappointing stories. We left Broken Hill late and couldn't travel any further so stayed at Warrawong on the Darling. So glad we did. Huge sites, the most spacious and clean amenities I have ever come across and there were more stars to see than I could ever have imagined. Definitely recommending this as a stop over. Take binoculas or a small telescope if you have one. You will not be disappointed. I took photos using my phone - even then the picture

We stayed here for 1 night and warmly welcomed the very comfortable bed & lovely breeze on the verandah. Much appreciated after a long day on the road. Also nice to see how family friendly the park is with children and dogs able to use the grassed area & walking path.

Thank you, this was a great place for the family to stay as a quick overnight stay. Easy to find, cheap and clean place. The town it’s self was nothing special but we did find the local pool which the girls had a swim in after a long drive from adelaide. Would stay again.

The billabong next to the hotel is absolutely beautiful at dawn and dusk. Large numbers of large kangaroos and bird make up a perfect outback scene against the bright reds and oranges of the sky. The cabin was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortably and the staff were friendly. There is a barbecue and outdoor kitchen to cook your own food if you need. The staff were very helpful and responded quickly when I discovered i had left my reading glasses there much later. They were posted to me at home, and arrived in a few days.
