We were looking for a remote place, as far away as possible from the tourists hordes as humanely possible. We found, quite by accident, this resort on line. We decided to spend four days there. There were four of us, My wife, daughter, myself and a friend. The first obstacle, after finding the resort, is to get there. Once you... More

The resort is not too big and not too small. Easy to get around, clean and very friendly staff that you actually get to know a little. Two great things: 1) The pool and the beach are only 5 meters a part and it means half of the group can go to the beach and the rest enjoy the pool... More

We stayed at Ko Wai and at the Beach Resort 4 nights over christmas 2014. We definitly had a great time there! The resort has a superb beach with crystall clear water looking just as you imagine it to be... We had a beach front bungalow, which we really liked. The sea was just 5 meters away and we had... I spent four days on Koh Wai with a group of friends and later came to stay her for Christmas with my sister and her kids. During these times, I turned off all electronic devices and avoid connecting to any kind of network. The island is very small - we were able to circle it in a kayak in about... More

First moment to arrive the resort is the feeling of serenity and privacy. The location is perfect for its long beach along the bay with the greenery of forest on the back. Just right in front of our room, we could walk down the sea for swimming and diving for Blue corals which are rare in Thailand now while the... More

Koh Wai Beach Resort is tucked into a private south-east facing bay on an island with only a handful of other resorts. All of the others are to be found around the headland on a longer stretch of beachy coastline. [See our video of the resort here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sz179iCh6SY] The beach catches the sun from sunrise until about 90 minutes before... More

First we went to Koh Chang and we got the brochure there, so we decided to go to Koh Wai. It's a small island with a breathtaking view and we really love it. The water was so clear that we can see many fish. The room we stayed is decorated with natural style, not luxury, everything made of wood and stone.... More

We had booked four nights at the resort because we wanted to stay at a remote resort with a nice coral reef nearby. From what we had read in Lonely Planet this place should be perfect. But what a disappointment. Just to name a few of the reasons why we left after only one night: - The resort is totally... More
