Casa Libre Naguabo was the first place we stayed at during a long weekend trip (also our honeymoon) to Puerto Rico in November. We didn't really know what to expect but are so glad we decided to stay at this lovely guesthouse. Josue and Dawn are exactly the kind of people you want as hosts- kind, and attentive, but totally... We booked this B&B based on other TA reviews. We were the only guests there during our multiple day stay. The location looking over the bay is great and the breakfasts on the pool/patio each morning were very good. We even enjoyed the frogs singing us to sleep at night and the roosters awaking us each morning. However, we had... More

Naguabo was the definite highlight to my PR trip. We actually stayed in the hostel, which was incredibly comfortable and beautiful. It has an ocean view (more like on top of the water) and I really enjoyed laying in the hammock in the early morning watching the iguanas in the trees crawl around. The beach is either right below you... More

Stayed one night while making our way around the island, and had a really nice stay. Very clean, very relaxing, and an amazing view out over the water. Josue and Dawn were both really welcoming and breakfast was delicious and served hot at just the right time! Enjoyed waking up and and jumping right into the pool just outside our... More

Only had pleasure of staying one night, but had a great time. Josue and Dawn own/operate/live on property, and Josue's mother. All great people. We hung out along side pool bar, bring your own drinks/beers and keep them in fridge out there. Everyone kind of hangs out together there, and feels kind of like you're hanging at your friends house,... More

11 of us stayed here during our Spring Break vacation. The house was everything we imagined and more! Everything was clean and in perfect order, and the views were amazing. We had some great fun playing around in the pool as well. The best part of staying here was Patti! From making us special breakfasts every day (catering to our... More

Attempted to stay March 2014. I had a bad feeling when prior to arrival, my email communications were not addressed promptly. Upon arrival we were informed there was no electricity. According to the hostess, she had been waiting on the local power company for two days. Just did not feel right. The room appeared clean and basic. Exterior and pool... More

Stayed here in June 2013 for 2 nights and it was a great place. Patti is so great - from the delicious breakfast to the tips on the best beaches - she made it a great place to stop for a couple nights. We ended up being the only couple there so we had the pool and the view to... More

Off the main track for tourists, so Naguabo is a great find if you want to see how the locals live and play. Saturday afternoon, the malecon filled up with vendors and weekend warriors, as this little fishing town is a hot destination for locals. The music was a bit loud that night, but other nights were quieter. I was... More

Located in a small fishing neighborhood with a few restaurants that serve mostly seafood. Had to go to Fajardo to find more restaurant variety. Neighbor across the street has tons of roosters and chickens, but the air conditioner drowned out most of the noise. Patty made a great breakfast and gave us directions for a very nice scenic drive back... More
