Head Chef, Mike Haddow, has spent over 30 years behind the stove, during which time he has established an enviable reputation for delivering no nonsense quality fayre. The emphasis food wise is quality, local, regional and above all, seasonal produce, prepared with skill & care. The menu is traditional, and just what you would expect from a country pub. We are a Free house, with the bulk of our beers provided by Carlsberg, but with 3 local Craft cask beers on tap at any one time. Wines are provided by Corney & Barrow, with grape varieties to suit all tastes and budgets. Mikes wife, Margaret, looks after front of house and ensures the warmest of welcomes.
