I have stayed twice at Hotel Cafe with a larger group on a surgical mission from the US. This is a boutique-style property, so don't expect throngs of employees. Your capable bartender will also serve your meal in the cozy restaurant. Staff is professional and attentive, the rooms are basic and clean, and the atmosphere is homey, comfortable, and secure....

Modest hotel, friendly staff and service. This is probably the best you'll find in the area. Breakfast was included and was traditional Nicaraguan fair that was good. We had our first warm showers in over 2 months!

This is a no-frills hotel in a small Central American town, but for it's type it is Very Nice. I was with a group, and some of the age 60+ people were expecting more. But this place has all you need for a pleasant sleep and nice breakfast. The lobby, bar, dining room and guest rooms were all clean and...

I gave this hotel a high rating because it has all that you need and is the best place in Jinotega. That said, don't expect luxury and indulgences. I repeat, this is Jinotega. The wifi works well, better than pricier hotels elsewhere. The staff is attentive and very helpful, on par with anywhere. This is where to stay.

My husband, 8 month old son and I showed up at Hotel Cafe fairly dishevelled after our ride to an Eco lodge didn't show at the bus station to pick us up. The staff at the hotel were wonderful. They helped us try to call the Eco lodge. We ended up staying at Hotel Cafe for 2 nights. It was...

Room was very clean, comfortable and well kept, just as I remembered from previous visits. Meals were high quality and service was very good. The menu provides for some variation from the usual chicken, rice and beans fare. I will return on my next visit to Jinotega.

I always stay in Hotel café when I am in Jinotega. The best if not the "only" hotel in Jinotega. Always a great welcome from the staff. Food is excellent and service is great .Handy location and everything well organised and clean

The Best place to be in Jinotega, Nicaragua. The location is perfect and the service is great. It is not an expensive hotel and it has a green conscious. Very clean and the garden is impresive. The garage is free, and believe me other hotels in the City charge it.

This hotel is clean and the service is excellent. The bed was comfy, the room was air conditioned, and the staff were eager to answer questions and make our stay a memorable one. The owner is super nice and she runs a professional hotel! There was lots of seating outside the room as well....great for family games, visiting, or reading....

Unlike some of your correspondents I always find a great warm welcome when I visit . Dona Teri runs a very tight ship. Although there are a number of decent restaurants in Jinotega I often eat at Hotel Café Best hotel in Jinotega
