My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Popa Paradise Resort at the end of February. We originally were planning on staying for 9 days, but we enjoyed it so much we extended out trip for 14 days. There were so many great things about this resort that, from the very beginning, made it a memorable trip....

Last year, I spent over 150 nights abroad in Ritz Carlton, JW Marriott and Westin hotels and I wanted to experience something very different. Based on the overall favorable reviews, we chose Popa Paradise. If you are looking for all the amenities of the aforementioned hotels, don't come here (don't come to Bocas Del Toro). Against the preference of my...

Food was cheap, meagre and disgusting. Obviously prepared the day before and all lathered in some horrible red sauce. When I asked for mine without red sauce they came back with just a big fish head and watched me scream. Whole place was dirty and in poor state of repair, broken glass on beach, murky pool, broken boats and equipment....

Our visit to Popa was way beyond our expectations. We were met at the airport as promised by Alesandro who got us safe and sound to the island. We were then met at the dock by Andrea, who was wonderful, and taken to reception where we met the lovely Elena. The check-in was fast and easy. Elena escorted us to...

Hello, Donna and Trevor! Infinite thanks for the precise description of your stay at Popa Paradise: the arrival, the welcome, the casita, the food, our staff, and the good time you had here. We really enjoyed your presence here; for your energy and enthusiasm, and for the time we were able to spend together, talking and laughing endlessly with you...

Enjoyed 10 days at Popa. It is a great place for travelers who want to see the attractions of the Bocas del Toro archipelago in style & comfort. The resort itself is very quiet -- often with few guests -- but staff are extremely attentive. The key is to balance excursions to local sites (provided by Popa's small fleet of...

Hello Lindsay and David, First of all, thank you for being with us, and for choosing Popa Paradise for an exceptionally long stay. We appreciate your kind remarks, and helpful information for future guests. It is true that despite considerable effort and expense, our catamaran "Chewbacca" is not in condition on par with the Popa experience. We have taken your...

An amazing stay in every way. Prior to arrival we asked Vince if the resort could have plenty of fish, fruit, and vegetables for us, along with our favorite in-room coffee and bar drinks. Our expectations were exceeded! We were met at the airport and enjoyed a wonderful ride across the Caribbean to the resort. The owners, Vince, Rosie, and...

. The resort pretends to be a 5 star, but in reality is not more than a 3 star hotel. Yes: the location of Popa Paradise is fantastic, but in order to get there one has to take a boat from Bocas del Toro. The boats of the hotel do not offer side protection against the water. The biggest problem...

We loved our stay at Papa Paradise! It was a perfect blend of available activities and downtime. Our private casita was spacious and we spent a lot of time on the balcony reading and enjoying the view. We also took advantage of the snorkeling trips and coffee farm tour that were offered. Snorkeling at Zapatilla and Coral Caye was easy...
