We stayed here for one night on route to Pearl Lagoon. Bluefields isn't touristy but this hotel is a good bet if you're here on your way through. Room was clean & comfortable with a table, sofa, a big bed & air-con. (no safe) It is attached to a sports bar & casino & there was very loud music, cars,...

I stayed here for a week about 10 years ago and as far as I can see, nothing has been changed since then, literally. The sitting area in the rear is gone and the rooms are just old and gloomy. We had one towel and had to ask for a second. We stayed two nights and, although we were at...

Considering the challenges of being in Bluefields this is a darned nice hotel. The staff is great, breakfast substantial and tasty and the rooms surprisingly nice. You won't get a steaming hot shower or spa but if you are looking for a very comfortable room, I am not aware of anything better in Bluefields. Added bonus is security and after...

I read reviews that say the second floor rooms are much better than first floor rooms and I must agree. My traveling companion has a second floor room that looks quite comfortable, spacious, and has a nice view. My room on the ground floor has no furniture, windows, or wifi signal. There is a bed, two nightstands, and an extremely...

I stayed here for 3 nights in April. The room was clean and the staff were helpful as much as they could be. I was originally put in a room that smelt musty and had little light. I asked to be moved immediately and they obliged without fuss. The area outside the hotel looked a little daunting at night, but...

I stayed here on business and it is definitely the best in Bluefields but that is not saying much. Bluefields is definitely third world - maybe fourth. I had to remove the shower head in order to get wet enough to bath. The hotel has a bar/disco across the street (very loud) and the roosters would begin crowing every morning...

Some travellers complain that Oasis is noisy and that the rooms are gloomy. That is right - it is noisy and without charm. Nevertheless, Oasis is without doubt the best option in town. I have visited Bluefields regularly over the last ten years and have tried many local hotels. The Oasis is clean and safe. The breakfast is decent and...

I did not enjoy this place at all. It cost about 70 bucks a night + taxes and the only good thing out of it is the free breakfast. The casino attached to it sucks and there is no blackjack. At night you hear all kind of music and rowdiness going on outside until all hours of the night. While...

I stayed at the hotel for work. It was actually much nicer than I expected. The rooms are clean, but some do smell like smoke. I had a Jr. Suite and this was very spacious and had a very nice bathroom. The air conditioning and fan kept the room very cool. They do need new linens as the blanket seemed...

This is a very mediocre hotel. The rooms are dismally furnished and lack natural light. I had a junior suite but I have no idea why so called, it was just a standard room, TV suspended from the ceiling, no decorations, no wardrobe, one towel, had to dismantle the shower head to get any water, the list goes on! The...
