Beautiful house full of antiques , the dinner was delicious and lots of wine. Christine recommended places to buy wine reasonably and reserved us bicycles for hire the following day . Off road larking too.

Christiane gave us a lovely welcome, our meal that evening was delightful in her garden bower. The guest house was quirky and interesting and very comfortable. Importantly, for a group of English people, Christiane's English was excellent, but equally she was happy to let us practise our French on her! We would certainly recommend La Graineterie.

We stayed overnight on our way south and it was a good choice. Christine made us very welcome and we had a lovely room on the first floor full of art deco items. Breakfast was around a big table where you can chat to other guests and practice your French. Easy to find and you can park close by in...

Like the previous reviewer, we were on a bike ride through Burgundy and spent two nights in Buxy with Madame Sarrazin. She is a lovely host and took very good care of us. We had dinner with her one night during which we engaged in lively conversation and she accommodated my vegetarian diet. We stayed in the top-most room which...

We just spent two great nights in Buxy chez Madame Sarrazin at La Graineterie. We were in the middle of an 8 day bike trip in Burgundy and Madame Sarrazin made us feel welcome and provided a great chambre, great meals and great conversation. She runs the Antique Store next store to the hotel and it is evident that she...
