Spent Easter here in a powered caravan site. From the moment you drive in the entrance, you realise this is a park like no other. Lovely friendly lady on check in. Huge , huge sites, angled parking so easy to reverse into . Did I mention they are huge sites……. Yes it was muddy, it’s done nothing but rain in NSW for weeks but the park text me two days before to advise it was muddy and to call and discuss options. We decided to still come, park was full but due to supersized sites it didn’t feel full We were given a bag of goodies- beer sausage, pistachio nuts and these amazingly yummy banana in chocolate ( had to find store they came from to buy more from on Easter Monday!) Throughout the weekend the park sent texts to my phone advising what time the egg hunt was, what the kids movie was etc…, we have never stayed anywhere so organised and fantastic at communicating. Easter Sunday there was live music, a barbecue truck and a combi van bar….. highly recommend the pink gin cocktails. . Must have been popular as they sold out and had to send for more gin. Facilities were great, huge jumping pillow, big big screen tv, pools….. walking distance to the beach . You never need to leave and go anywhere else. Toilets cleaned, some people are feral and leave the place filthy but that’s not on the park. The kangaroos were everywhere- which I loved !! This is definitely the best park we have ever been to and we will be back soon !

Wow!! Thank you for such an amazing review of our park. We work hard to make sure the holidays run as smoothly as possible. Even when we have had a tremendous amount of rain over the past few months and the sites were not up to our usual standard, we appreciate that our guests notice the effort we go to to make their stay memorable. I will certainly pass on your comments to all departments. See you again very soon. Keep travelling! Pam

Our first time travelling with a small dog. Our cabin had a verandah enclosed for our dog to walk around freely. The cabin was very clean. Our meals from the Cafe were very nice. Would stay there again.

Loved Darlington Park. From the very pleasant front desk to the fella who graciously backed my caravan into the site to the very clean amenities both ensuite and general. The amenities for the children were top notch, even a spa was a winner. The only thing i would suggest would be some foot paths between the roads for wet weather. We found the kangaroos a little too friendly but that might be due to people feeding them. All in all avery enjoyable week and I think we’ll be back. Thank you Darlington park.

Hi Rhonda, thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. The kangaroo's certainly make themselves at home, if you ever get an over-friendly one again, please don't hesitate to contact reception or night duty. We appreciate all comments regarding where we can do better & all suggestions are passed on to management. We look forward to seeing you again. Keep travelling! Pam

We stayed in the Gumnut villa which was absolutely horrible. The toilet was flooding the bathroom floor, the shower head in the ensuite was like being hosed by a fire hydrant. The toilet in the ensuite felt tiny, like it was meant for young children. There was an ants nest in the light above the master bed which was dripping ants and nest pieces on me throughout the night so we moved the bed out of the way. The fan in that room was vibrating so bad that it would shake more ants onto the bed. The aircon was working but I don't think the room was insulated so it was never enough. We had two fans running to try and push cool air into the kids room for the entire week we were there. The matresses felt absolutely horrible and felt like I was going to roll off the bed each time I move. There was some mould on the bedroom walls. The whole cabin was just old, outdated and very worn. The wifi hardly worked which was not so great because there was also no cell service in most of the park. Great if you want to have no connection but not so great when you need to use the internet to search for places to go and things to see in the area. Why am I giving it 4 stars? Because of Jan! The staff there were amazing! Jan tried to do everything in her power (and then some!) To try and help us out. She was incredible! The facilities were also great! Lots for the kids to do, direct beach access, kangaroos all over the place, pools, water play equipment, slides, tennis courts, archery, go karts, all great fun! The bikes are old and pretty run down so not worth renting. Thanks again to Jan! We hope to stay here again but in one of the more modern cabins (or in our own tent).
