Historic house in lovely setting, offering a peaceful haven in the beautiful Gower countryside. If boutique hotels your thing, maybe not for you...but if quirky, warm, welcoming trip into a gentler past appeals, this ticks every box. Plenty of outdoor activities nearby and stunning walks down to the bays. Comfortable firm bed, crisp white sheets....and full breakfasts worth getting up...

My partner booked us a short weekend break here for my big birthday and we loved it. A wonderful Victorian house in beautiful, peaceful surroundings, I walked miles down to Three Cliffs Bay, Pennard castle and Parkmill. Our room was a little snug with not much storage space but the bed was super comfy and the family most welcoming. We...

What a brilliant place, we (over 40 of us, including kids!) rented the entire B&B for four days and spent a fabulous time there. The place has everything, charm, lovely ambiance and great area. Olive, Kerry and the family are all so relaxed, easy going, but at the same time helpful and a plasure to deal with. Would definitely recommend...

Although we only stayed one night, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The owners are genuinely lovely and welcoming, and the lodge itself is very cozy. The breakfast was plentiful and well cooked, and the grounds are lovely to go for a walk in. Full marks.

Simply magical Victorian hunting lodge set in large rambling grounds. 2 days of stunning coastal path walking and 3 nights of luxury accommodation with delicious homemade evening meals – perfect! Just what I needed to unwind. Starting the day with Olive’s huge Welsh...

I love the feel of this place, it's full of beautiful dark wood furniture and fireplaces. The service was lovely and friendly. Be warned the sat nav might take you to the wrong place, it's best to keep a lookout for signs instead. The road to the house is narrow and only wide enough for a single vehicle. The rooms were...

Forget Fawlty Towers. Forget draughty, tired seaside bed and breakfasts with dribbling showers and hard fried eggs dripping in grease. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, supplied by friendly staff lead by a diminutive, inexhaustible hostess with Hogwarts elf style powers of food preparation at all times of day or night. The welcome and the care were comparable to a visit...

Just returned from a fantastic weekend break where we stayed at the Log Cabin, which is located in a private wooded area of the estate. On the first evening we had an excellent "home made" dinner in the main house with other guests and also had a hearty breakfast prior to our return. The cabin has all modern facilities to...
