I needed to stay 2 nights mid-week in Wollongong and all the usual type of business-oriented accommodation was booked out, so although this place was in the back of a quiet suburban area (not near shops etc), I thought it looked lovely, so I decided to stay there. The pictures do the place justice - it's incrediblt spacious (since it's almost the entire downstairs of a two storey home) and Kay has done a wonderful job of furnishing the area, not just main furnishings but the small art-works which are dotted through the place at regular intervals. The bathroom is also immaculate and modern and the bed was very comfortable. Kay makes a lovely breakfast and is very accommodating re food selection and time served. Of course, the infinity pool overlooking the bush is another key attraction of the place, together with an accompanying relaxed outdoor area and BBQ. My only very minor constructive feedback is to possibly consider a n'espresso machine (especially for business travellers), and also whether there should be an option for blinds throughout the entire place (not just the bedroom) to reduce light a little in the morning (however, for many, that might ruin the experience of ceiling to floor windows and the beautiful view over the bush, so I'm not sure if my feedback is 100% practical here). Overall, I'd have no hesitation to stay there again - if you're looking for somewhere to stay in Wollongong that's secluded and tranquil, you really can't beat this place.…
I attempted to contact this place to book a room on several occasions. I rang several times I texted several times and left voicemail. All were completely ignored 3 days yes 3 days later I get a call to ask me what I wanted. Absolutely disgusted it takes seconds to return a call not 3 days. Will never use this place again.
Lyndon Haven is a tranquil B and B with all amenities ensuring an amazing stay. Kay provides a delicious generous sized cooked breakfast at a time of your choosing. There is an infinity pool for your own private use, a piano that you can play, spacious indoor and outdoor areas, a beautifully appointed bathroom with a large bath tub and a BBQ with all the equipment needed to cook. There were so many lovely and thoughtful touches that make you feel pampered and Kay and Andrew even bought a card and bottle of wine for Eric as it was his birthday. Thanks so much Kay and Andrew, we had a wonderful stay. Eric and Jaye.
A lovely tranquil setting amongst the trees overlooking you’re private infinity pool. We found this unique, single guest house perfect for our anniversary weekend away. Kay, the host brings you breakfast at your chosen time, freshly cooked and a generous serving. The room is spacious with indoor and outdoor areas to eat and relax. It feels very private and totally peaceful. Good amenities including a BBQ. About 15 minutes from Woolongong centre yet away from any busy hustle and bustle, central enough to see all the surrounds. We’ll definitely come back.
We are currently sat here overlooking the beautiful greenery after a long, lazy BBQ lunch in the shade. We arrived here yesterday and Kay greeted us with a bottle of red wine to toast to our 6th wedding anniversary! Everything is so comfortable and clean! The bath is lovely, great shower. The sofa is super comfortable. Kay brought breakfast down to us this morning and it was delicious. It's very quiet and private here. This is a wonderful, exquisite place to stay and Kay goes above and beyond for her guests. Thank you Kay, love! Samantha & Zoe Stanley-Jones xxx
