Decoration tired, and the location is rather motel like, but the staff are good and the restaurant served good evening meal with a nice wine list. Breakfast is a little disappointing with limited choice and the rooms a little cold (in December!)

I stopped in there several times during the last years. The rooms are very simple, but clean and to sleep there one night is o.k. Alternatives are not really given in Roye. The free WiFi doesn't work in the rooms, the electrical heating is not sufficiantly to control ... around the hotel is nothing you could spend time at the... More

Having been held up for 2 hours getting through Paris on our way to Calais we decided to stop somewhere on route overnight. We thumbed through the excellent Logis guide and came across the Royhotel. I was surprised (and delighted) that at 7.30 on a busy Saturday night they still had vacancies (in hindsight suspicious). Our room was a bit... More

I've just spent two nights at the Citotel in Roye, and had a great time. Roye is situated just to the north of Paris, just off the A1, so if you arrive late or in the afternoon and don't want to drive to far, or if you are returning a car to CDG and don't want to spend to much... More

About 30km south of Amiens is Roye, we stayed at the Royehotel, first impressions rather negative, looks a bit like a Motel and the rooms were fairly uninspired. But boy oh boy, the food! absolutely superb meals both nights, if that chef (English speaking ) stays there do try it if you need a stop over on your way south.... More

Citotel - Royhotel was so much more than we anticipated (we are very fussy); we were really happy staying there. There is a very spacious lounge and bar area with comfy seats and a fire, a good place to meet up if you are with a party. The bedrooms were really quite large and very clean with a spotless laminate... More

I arrived on the 11th of December 2012 at the hotel. When I got to my room it was stone cold. The regulator on the wall had only one knob to turn to different temperatures but nothing happened. I phoned to reception and the lady said: Oh, I'll have to turn the heating on. I looked at the heating unit... More

The first plus point about the Royhotel is its location – you just turn off the A1 at Roye, and there it is. Another is that, despite its location, it is surprisingly quiet – just as well given that we had to sleep with the window wide open because the ‘climatisation’ consists of a knob screwed to the wall which... This is a three star routier type hotel, tired deco yes but the staff more than make up for that. We booked a group into here for two nights in April, they ate in the restaurant in the evening, the food was very good, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, even fussy eaters were dealt with quickly and... Understand that my overall rating is by reference to its type - this is an excellent example of a Logis 3-chimney, but it is not the Georges V! The Royhotel is modern(ish) hotel within a minute or two of the A1/E25 and an ideal place to stopover on a Calais/Paris journey in either direction if Paris hotel prices don't appeal.... More
