We were fortunate to find this gem and spend a wonderful week in September. The owners were warm and welcoming and helpful in every way. The surroundings were beautiful and our accommodation to a very good standard. Breakfasts were served on the terrace overlooking the Tuscan countryside and the food was simple and delicious. We are certainly planning a return...

Paolo and Valerie are exceptional hosts and proud to show off their beutiful accomodation. The terrace offers fantastic views over Tuscany and the rolling hills of Chianti. The breakfast was fabulous and a home baked cake prepared the night before. With a wide selection of juices, scrambled egg, bacon, array of cheeses and meats, and not forgetting the beutiful fruit...

After leaving our 3 day Italian cooking class, we headed off to San Gimignano in search of accommodation. We were totally flustered and during our Italian cooking class, one of the managers advised that we should look into Le Terrazze for accommodation and so glad we did!!! They are situated and a small midevil town, San Donato in Poggio. Such...

Possibly the best B&B in Tuscany. Paolo and Valeria and their three children are lovely hosts. Our room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. All the furniture was repainted shabby-chic style by Paolo himself. As soon as we arrived (it was quite late at night), we were treated to complimentary glasses of Chianti wine and accompanying appetizers. Delicious breakfast - very...

We wished for something nice, cozy and with the feel of beautiful Toscany. We got more! The view from the terazze is amassing. The village has nice atmosphere. We found it to be cozy. Fairly close to Florence. The rooms are more pleasant than pictures and the hosts are nicer than any review can explain. It's not enough to say...

I knew that after over a week of being the typical tourists and seeing the magnificent sights of Milan, Verona and Florence, I wanted to slow down a bit, and just breathe in the beauty that is Tuscany, and this jewel of a Bed and Breakfast gives you everything you want from an idyllic location to the best service you...

Amazing owners, we were treated with a welcome drink and local snacks. Their terrace has a million dollar view at Chianti and looks amazing in the morning and in the evening. The room was very clean and cosy, cleaned every day. Breakfast the best we tried in all Italy : it was served to the table at the terrace, coffee...

A lot of love was put into this inn. Beautifully situated on a hill in the middle of Chianti. The views were amazing from our room and from the large terrace, where we were served a welcome drink and finger food the first night. It's a 40 minute drive into Florence and a welcomed quiet after the hectic day in...

Perfect...this was the perfect spot to explore Tuscany, Florenze, Pisa, etc.... The town was beautiful and charming to wander through providing a perfect retreat from the busy and bustling towns of Florenze, Pisa, Rome...yet easy to reach, our sanctuary at the end of each day. We so enjoyed 'getting lost' among the vineyards as we explored ancient towns. Paulo and...

Ambling aimlessly through the Tuscan countryside in late April 2015, we found this gem...and lucky for us, they had an available room. Valarie and Paulo are delightful, engaging hosts who helped us plan our visit to the region and gave us every comfort of home. Their terrace sits above the main street of the medieval village of San Donato on...
