Spent one week here in a single room. The hotel lobby and corridors to the room are only what deserves four stars, the rest is equivalent to a budget hotel style as it requires an update after at least 30 years of use. The bathroom smell was awful, the carpet was full of stains and cigarettes burns, tinny walls, on...

We only had lunch here but the food and service was first class. Will be eating here again in the summer when we visit with the whole family. Great view along the Zillertal valley if you sit out the front.

As mentioned before this hotel is indeed "gone glory". + hygene + OK view from the room - cigarette smell in lobby, bar etc - breakfast is very basic - no free wifi (should be standard in 2015) +/- staff, sometimes friendly, sometimes not, depends ... to describe it in short: everybody is on "routine", no personal approach +/- rooms...

Traveling with a group of 18 co-workers for a short-ski in the nearby Zillertal. The hotel, although it has not a prime location next to the ski-slopes, could score much better if the owner would do an effort. The director of the hotel was not friendly at all and we didn't feel a thing from the Austrian hospitality. Our room...

It had been four years since we last visited this hotel. Apart from the passage of time, little has changed. It is still family run, warm, cosy and welcoming with friendly staff. A previous telephone call had reserved just the room we had requested. Everyone enjoyed a conversation; their knowledge of English is better than for some who have made...

Was again a great experience for all our ski party . The hotel is situated in the heart of the village ,right next to the Penken cable car lift. Which is...

This is called a hotel- but is actually a poor school hostel!! Food is extremely poor and one nights' evening meal (for families and adults) was turkey dinosaurs and chips and the vegetarian option was a bowl of mixed veg in a cheese sauce with frozen uncooked oven chips!!!! The 24hr vending machine was never refilled!!!! There are NO tea...

I went with Leger and although I have stayed in lots of hotels recently this was the first not up to the usual standard. The rooms were very pleasant and clean but the food was not very good the puddings being almost inedible and there was not very much of it some of us were quite hungry. The standard of...

“For the best views, choose a top floor on the front or west side of the hotel. The front looks up the Zillertal and the west side down towards the town centre. Some rooms are larger than others. Telephone first.”
