A small pleasant looking hotel from the outside with outside seating if required. We arrived at 2:20 pm after a long drive and I asked if we could have lunch, the dinning room was quite busy. The charming receptionist asked the waiter and he said no, we were too late. I then asked if it would be possible to just...

the first impression gives a distorted picture: the hotel shows rather neglected, but it is not. The rooms are not too big, but with the basic comfort. Dinner is really excellent. The breakfast is good. The rooms at the back of the hotel offer a beautiful panorama on the Valley of the Meuse.

We stopped here on a Saturday night, travelling back to the UK: it's quite close to the autoroute between Strasbourg and Calais. We got stuck in Strasbourg earlier in the evening - the slip road to the motorway was closed, we couldn't find the diversion signs, the SatNav seemed to go haywire and and we drove around in circles, so...

I staid in this Hotel by chance. While driving to Strasbourg I needed a place to spend the night and staid here. The room I was had a good temperature but the decoration is quite old. When you enter the room you think you've went back to the 80's... The price was 57€ plus the city charge and even tough...

Travelled with a group of friends visiting local World War 1 venues and this was one of only a few hotels able to accommodate a reasonable size group. Facilities and decor matched the budget category that it has, but the staff were very cheerful and very helpful and they coped with what must have been an unusually large party for...

The photograph of this hotel is misleading as this is the back of the property! The front is right on the busy road with just a few tables at the front. Our room was very small and basic but the bed linen was spotlessly clean. Very small flat screen TV and no WiFi in the room. The dog hardly had...

Stopped here overnight as it's close to the autoroute and takes dogs. The room was fine; fairly small but provided everything we needed and the shower was efficient. The restaurant, however, was very good indeed. There were a number of fixed price choices; we went for four courses for E25, which proved to be extremely good value. The wine prices...

This hotel is close to the city of verdun, which is beautiful with many restaurants to choose from. The bunkers which was the purposes of our trip was just in the other direction if the city, not too far and very big, there were many sites to see from ww2. The room was quite simple and small good for the...

We booked an overnight stop here with the intention of spending the afternoon and following morning exploring the battlefields. Again, like other users we picked this hotel on the basis of reviews on this site - Verdun truly is a hotel desert. If you stay here you need to be aware that you are picking a basic hotel. Room was...

Booked this hotel for my husband and son based on Trip Advisor recommendations. I understand that hotels in Verdun are limited and they wanted to use Verdun as a home base to visit the WWI sites. This hotel was a disappointment. Using the Trip Advisor link to Booking.com, we booked a triple room (as they understand the rooms will be...
