We spent the second time in this wonderful B&B. The nice restored house has an amazing backyard with a well-cleaned pool area where you can relax perfectly. As soon as you pass through the door you can feel the warmth as you are greeted by the hosts. Clean rooms designed with love and care down to the smallest detail, each room has a theme, Visiting with 2 friends from Geneva it was a perfect get away. I really cannot find a bad word to say about this hostelry. The property is lovely, beautifully restored and has quirky, themed bedrooms, which may not be to everyone's taste. We had the seaside themed room which was thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. Catherine, Pierre are delightful, helpful and good hosts. Breakfast is generous. Lots of good home made jams... The Ardeche area was a completly unknown area for us as we have tended to stay nearer the coast of southern France. Our arrival at the lovely little medieval town of Barjac was just the start of our discoveries of this very unspoilt area. We recommand this chambre d'hôtes (rooms are brocante style with a small human touch) because: - very welcoming propretaires - home made breakfast - peaceful garden with nice swimming pool - village and region (Ardèche) are just lovely Have à good trip and enjoy Barjac! J + M de Genève
