Only stayed one night would have stayed on but it was full. Very comfortable . Don t know why they Don t use their very nice bar. We stayed here a few years ago and enjoyed a few nights in the bar. Would recommend as it's very clean and central in Hinterthal.

The Haus Salzberg Hotel is Heaven in the Alps. Alex, Oliver and the team made my recent trip a real holiday to remember. From the personal welcome by name on arrival to ensuring we had food for the journey home. Nothing is too much trouble for this family run hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable with daily house-keeping. The... More

Just thought we would take this opportunity to say thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable and trouble free. I only wish they all went that smoothly! We went with a large group of friends where the kids out numbered the children! "Haus Salzburg" itself is excellent, warm & cozy, all bedrooms are large & spacious some with baths... More

This has to be the best holiday that my family and I have had, made by Alex & Oliver at Haus Salzberg. From the moment we arived to the packed lunch that was prepared with the same excellence as the superb 3 course evening meals to when we left. Quite with out doubt the best food I have ever experienced.... More

My son and I visited with a group of friends during late March/early April. We were incredibly lucky to have such great skiing so late in the season, especially as it snowed heavily on 1 and 2 April. We were also extremely lucky to have stayed at Haus Salzburg. Alex, Oliver and the team made us feel completely at home.... More

The quality of the food as well as the drinks is also incredible. If you ever find yourself to be in Hinterthal this is a... More

We have just returned from a week's group skiing with our two children and three other families. We had a fantastic stay, Alex and Oliver looked after us seamlessly (despite my fussy dietary requirements!) from the moment we arrived. The children were brilliantly catered for each day with an early dinner, then we could enjoy the amazing three course dinner... More

What a brilliant place! Just got back from Austria after a week's skiing and boarding with my wife and daughters with 3 other families. We didn't want to leave! Alex and Oliver (and staff) looked after us brilliantly from the moment we arrived. Tea and cake after skiing each day - early tea for the kids while we were served... More
