We had an excellent mid-week lunch here. Did not go for the menu du jour because we fancied the plate of the day on the normal menu - & delicious it was too! Finished off with an enormous Vacherin Cevenole. From what we could see the menu du jour looked equally good. Staff all friendly & helpful.

Efficient and friendly welcome, Pleasant decor. The food was excellent both times we were there recently, for my wife and myself. Quail with brown lentils and a slightly vinegary delicious sauce. Veal liver was absolutely perfect, with a sprinkling of hazelnuts. I had to abstain from the deserts, but I was told they were sumptuous. We also had their recommended...

As a francophile I have to be careful that I am not blinded by enthusiasm and good-will. However, praise where it is due. The auberge/hotel is a sympathetically renovated building from the 19th century. Upon our arrival, we received a very warm welcome and were shown straight to our room. We were immediately impressed by the standard of our first...

My wife and I are currently staying at the Auberge Cigaloise, in the second week of a two week stay, demi pension (half board). The two stars awarded to the hotel are for the facilities, not the standard, which is absolutely excellent. Our room is comfortable and clean, though it does not have air conditioning. However there is a fan...

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in late April 2014. Beautiful weather, lovely location. Very clean room, comfortable 160cm (queen) bed. Although on the main road, our room was very quiet. I will stay here again! Wonderful value for demi pension. Two great dinners and excellent breakfasts.

This is a 2 star Logis Hotel. On a 2 week cycling vacation, we had stayed in a number of these. Auberge Cigaloise is definitely a step up from the norm. The pool was crystal clear, with comfortable deck chairs. The highlight was the restaurant. Our hosts provided our group of 10 with an exceptional 3 course meal at a...
