We stayed for two nights, pricy, but keep in mind they feed you right when you set foot into the cozy main lodge. Afternoon tea, snacks, dinner, large breakfast and they even pack your lunch. Backcountry accommodations you can drive to. Close to awesome hikes. We did Chester lake, saw some wild life, moose, black bear, .. The young people...

For anyone who has been a regular at this Lodge will understand why I am only willing to give it a 2* rating. Walking through its doors today I couldn't help but feel how soul-less this place has become. Perhaps to those who never got to experience Mt. Engadine Lodge prior to the "re-design" spoken about on its website, nothing...

We stayed in one of the two suits as a couple in early August 2016, what a wonderful place, the situation overlooking the valley and mountains is calendar like. Even the moose arrived on cue throughout the day, viewing from the balcony is unobtrusive and doesn't scare them aware. The room was well appointed, comfortable bed, gas fire for when...

I stayed at the Lodge as part of guided group hiking tour. The Lodge was the starting off point for several days of walks up various trails in the Canadian Rockies, some forest, and some alpine meadows. The Lodge is a magnificent base for outdoors enthusiasts. The rooms are rustic, yet sophisticated and very comfortable. Other reviewers have commented on...

We've been lucky to spend 3 nights at the lodge. Days filled with hiking and exploring. Enjoyed watching moose and their young in the meadow and have some amazing photographs. We also were blessed to see a young grizzly on the day we departed. This past summer, we spent several hours enjoying afternoon tea (Engadine style) on their deck. A...

The location of this property can't be beat! Now, to get there be prepared to take along drive on a dirt road. The remote location is reflected in the price, which also includes afternoon tea, dinner, breakfast and a packed lunch. This was not idea for me as I arrived later in the day and missed tea and dinner. I...

We stayed for 4 nights and were able to see a variety of wildlife and do some hiking in the surrounding Provincial Park. The team were able to suggest places to visit...

This is a fabulous gem tucked away on the Smith Dorrien Hwy between Canmore and the Kananaskis Lakes of Alberta's Eastern Slopes. The lodge is cozy and comfortable. The rooms are basic, but very comfortable. The setting could not be more spectacular with a beautiful moose meadow, Smuts Creek and a backdrop of snow capped Rockies. The food is outstanding...

We loved Mount Engadine Lodge - except maybe for the road getting to it which was a bit intimidating - but conversely made the lodge all that much better. The view from the room was spectacular. I loved the casual but very efficient, friendly and accommodating approach the staff used. The 'family style' meals are great for getting to know...
