The location it’s really nice, with a beautiful beach view but unfortunately in November water was quite dirty. Clean rooms well equipped with TV and AC. We used the kitchen which is as well really good equipped, we didn’t use the washing machine and I hope they will fix the problem in the future. Looking back everything was fine and I recommend this one especially for families and couples.
During our holiday on Praslin Island we stayed 8 days in this hotel and another 4 days on the other side of island (Anse Volbert area). We prefered this one by far. This part of island is much less occupied by tourists. We were taking a few kilometers walk on the beach everyday and if we passed more than 10 people on the way, we considered it as a high traffic. There a lot of palm trees along the beautiful white sand beach which we liked a lot. The beach is also perfect for running. The sea in that area is not perfect - there is a lot of seaweed and the water is rather muddy (not a crystal clear turquoise water you probably excpect on Seychelles). But you can take a short bus ride (cost: 7 rupees per person) and visit Anse Georgette or Anse Lazio beaches offering a beautiful water with Seychelles-specific rocks in it. Hotel is very close (walking distance!) to the airport. Grocery store is also very close (you just need to cross the street and walk around 50meters) and bus stop is even closer. The appartment is very spacious, comfortable and well maintained. Each appartment has its own kitchen with all equipment needed to prepare some meals by yourself (only breakfasts are provided by the hotel - very tasty, by the way). Hotel has only 5 or 6 appartments (4 of them offering very nice seaview - highly recommended) so you can enjoy a really peaceful and relaxing time here. We would love to come back!…
Recently renovated and this place felt like a home away from home. The owners Theresa and her daughter Silvie are very helpful and friendly. They also operate a car rental and offer good cars for renting at a reasonable price. Overall it was a very blissful stay.
We stayed in Le Tropique Villa for 5 nights (garden view apartment) with our two kids in December 18'. The location of the hotel is very good; beach is just few steps away, there are plenty of shops around, restaurants & take-aways etc. They also have 2 pedalboats that you can rent for free so it is one more thing for kids to enjoy. Breakfast was highlight of the morning - fresh fruit, home-made jam, banana bread and more. Staff is very friendly and always happy to help so you really feel just like at home. Definetely a place to come back.
We stayed here for 10 days and didn't want to leave! The owner, Therese, is a delightful host - so friendly - and the villas have everything you need. Ours had a great balcony with a brilliant view of the beach - it was a wonderful spot for chilling in the sun or for a pre-dinner drink in the evening. There's also a lovely deck with loungers, which is perfect at any time of day. The beautiful beach is literally steps away and is a great spot to catch the sunset each night. Falling asleep to the sound of the surf was such a treat. We can't wait to return!
