We decided to stay here a couple of nights on our way back to Cairns as we were intrigued by the lava tunnels. It is a great place to visit. The guides are all friendly and knowledge. We had Robert, I am amazed that he has only been doing that job for such a short time, you could tell he...

We stayed an evening at Undara Experience in the Swag Tent Village. Our package included a nights accommodation, Sunset Tour (with nibblies and champagne), 3-course dinner, bushmans breakfast and a Morning Tour. Our accommodation was adequate for our stay - we had bedding, lighting and power to charge our electronic devices. The tent also has a cooler built into the base...

We attend the Undara Rock and Blues weekend. If you get the chance don't miss it. The staff are amazing, food fantastic for its location and accommodation was clean and comfortable. The bands were awesome from all parts of the country. We will be back next year.

We just recently spent the weekend at Undara for the rock and blues festival. Not only was the music festival first class, the Undara Experience was also 5 star. The reception staff and tour guides are very friendly and accommodating and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. The facilities range from cabins to unpowered camping, we...

Ancient rivers of lava evacuated tunnels beneath the savannah, there is nothing like it. Excellent Savannah guides explained it all, how nearby volcanoes spewed their molten lava down watercourses then, after crusting over, the liquid flowed on leaving these hidden chambers, spectacular colours (you need a flash) and amazing islands of primordial rainforest preserved in collapsed tunnels. Well worth the...

G'day Terrasoar, Thanks for your feedback on your stay last October. I always appreciate hearing what our guests think of their experience. I wanted to let you know that we undertook a major refurb of the railway carriage accommodation over the Summer and the guest feedback on them has been very good! Beautifully restored and very very well furnished in keeping with the period of their lifetime. The bed was huge and new and very comfortable. Lovely en suite and lots of luggage racks for storage. We recently stayed here in one of the newly refurbished train carriages. They are beautifully done, very comfortable and a unique style of accommodation. During our stay we did an afternoon hike up to The Bluff and Atkinson's Lookout. Both were easy but interesting walks, offering lovely views over the surrounding area. At dinner we enjoyed the best steaks we...

We were there in the green season so it was very hot and very quiet but well worth the visit. I most wanted to see the bats and snakes but we made the most of the visit to enjoy the daytime guided walk and a walk up the Kalkani Crater (well, enjoy might be a bit extreme considering the heat...

If you can, I recommend you stay at least one night at the resort. It offers a wide range of accommodation options. I went for the train carriage; mainly for the experience of sleeping in a carriage and secondly because it had fans (the swag tents don't) just in case it was a hot night. The train carriages are beautifully...
