We stayed at Noosa Tropicana a few weeks ago and it was fabulous. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit on the second floor overlooking the pool area. The apartment was super spacious, well thought out, very comfortable and had plenty of space for a family. The owners are amazing, and work very hard to upkeep the cleanliness and aesthetics of the property. They are super friendly, nothing was too much trouble. They changed their cancellation policy in line with the current pandemic situation, which they didn't have to do, but was very welcome. We arrived after office closing, and had no issues collecting our room keys.
The apartment itself was fully self contained with a large kitchen, a full size washing machine and dryer, 2 bathrooms both with shower and toilet, 2 large bedrooms. Full size dining table and 2 lounge seating areas.
The pool was our son's favourite, and as there are not too many apartments was never too busy. Always clean. The balcony was huge, and it was so nice to sit out there. We had a bbq on the balcony too, which was awesome for meals we had in. It was a nice walk to hastings street, or a short drive, and to Gympie terrace where there are heaps of restaurants.
Would absolutely stay here again, loved it!

We have stayed in many places around Noosa over 15 years of visits but our last 3 have been back to Noosa Tropicana and the location and feel of the place never disappoints.
Once we had a 3 bed with roof top terrace but in middle of summer we found roof top to hot to use much (would be perfect in winter though) so we have stuck with middle story apartments since then.
Being only 3 stories high the complex feels intimate
It has a wonderful pool/bbq area which has plenty of shade and sun and we love making full use of it.
The management are always very helpful and pleasant. One of the best things, we think, is its quiet but on the main road so there r 2 very close bus stops that take you straight into Noosa. Otherwise we can walk to the start of Noosa river walk (T Boat hire) in 5 mins or the other way walk into Hastings street in about 15 mins. Some apartments are renovated but some need a little TLC but the website has honest pictures which let you make your own choice. We love coming back here

Booked on a deal for the school holidays and stayed two nights; we all wished it was longer. Great place, walking distance to the Pelican beach (Noosa river) and close to the main beach. The apartment was clean spacious and all what we wanted.
The caretakers messaged the day before to give instructions on how to pick up the key and the directions if we missed them when we arrived. On the day of the booking, they messaged again informing that our apartment was cleaned and ready, almost two hours before the scheduled check-in time.
We had space in the car park to store our bikes and the apartment had everything we needed including crockery and cutlery, microwave, refrigerator, tea and coffee, a washing machine, dryer, television and hair dryers. The free unlimited wifi was great and we could watch Netflix movies as we took our Chromecast. The heated pool was great too, even though it wasn't very big, my daughter loved swimming in it.
We will definitely visit again.

Booked five nights at Tropicana, it looked good online. It was clean, spacious while a little dated. Managers were nice people. Considering the price it wasn’t really up to standard due to the shower being old and needs replacing, having to empty your own bin at the end of your stay or be charged a fee (according to the sign in the kitchen area), no towel change or room service at all for five days…….the “welcome pack” mentioned online was a few tea bags and sachets of coffee……..that’s your welcome pack????
Our room was near the pool, I’m sounding like a whiner now but it was very loud when kids were in the pool and doors had to be closed to minimise the screaming! I would not stay here again for these reasons and also due to the location, there is not much in the immediate area and you MUST have a car or be prepared to walk a lot or navigate bus timetables to get to anywhere.

Having visited Nossa on a number of occasions we decided to stay a little out in Noosaville this time. We rented a 2BR apartment (No.17) with rooftop Jacuzzi and it was an extremely pleasant experience. The room was extremely spacious and had everything you would need for a long term stay if required. 2 bathrooms (one with Spa) huge lounge and dining area with fully equipped kitchen. Large TV with netflix and good wifi. Overall the unit was very clean on arrival and the keys were waiting for us in a locked safe with code provided. An allocated car space in the locked garage is provided and you will definitely need a car if staying there. There aren't any shops closer than a 15 min walk so getting anything will require a car trip but its not a huge inconvenience. Noosaville cafes and restaurants are 5 mins by car as is hastings st. The rooftop balcony was very private and we made good use of the BBQ and jacuzzi up there. It's just a very tight spiral staircase getting up there so if you have mobility problems it may be a bit difficult. I'd definitely recommend the tropicana and will probably stay there again on the next visit.

Disappointed paid $1300 for 4 nights
Was not informed that there was major renovations going on in one of the appartments. This involved hammer drills a jack hammer and grinders.
The appartment was ok spacious and rooftop terrace with jacuzzi was nice ,also the pool area was well maintained.

We stayed as a group in a two bedroom apartment on the top floor. It was spacious and comfortable. Be aware there are no lifts if you have trouble with stairs. The location is close to Gympie Terrace for meals and about a 30 minute walk from Hastings street. Parking is in a secure area below. My only criticisms are that the key location to activate the garage door is in an awkward place. Overall this is a good place to stay in Noosa.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in the one bedroom rooftop apartment with spa and what an absolute treat it was for us to have such great accommodation! The apartment had everything you could have ever needed to make you feel the comforts of home. Darrel and Michael were so accommodating and friendly from the moment we walked in the door.
Being unorganized travelers we were able to snag the apartment on the day we wanted to check in and we’re in comfort from the moment we did.
The private spa on the rooftop was the perfect way to end the day and the pool was great to just relax throughout the day.
Only a short walk to the bustling Hastings street shops and restaurants (around 24mins at a leisurely pace).
We had a great time and can’t wait to be back in Noosa in the beautiful apartments.
We will be back!

A 2km walk into Hasting St at Noosa Heads and 5min walk to Gympie St on the Noosa River. Enjoyed this location as much or more than staying in Noosa Heads.
Great hotel - only two bedrooms but plenty of room for a folding bed and a huge open plan living area.
We had a top floor apartment (so level 2) which had a huge roof top deck, BBQ, spa pool, etc
Prob a 1990’s build but really well presented, soundproof, 3 decks (incl the roof) wifi, etc
We were able to park 2 cars on site and one undercover. Friendly managers on site

Stayed 3 nights in this beautiful well maintained and spacious apartment. With your own spa and bbq situated in a court yard surrounded by gardens Tropicana is differently a hidden gem. The property managers were very friendly and made our stay stress free and the pool, bbq and surrounding garden’s are a credit to the hard work they but in to maintain them. Would differently recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a great relaxing and stress free holiday great for families or couples to have their own private home away from home.
