We stayed there for 8 nights and we really liked it. We had a very spacious and comfortable “tropical and Hawaiian style” room on second floor with a very spacious balcony and swimming pool view. The bed was quite big and bathroom in a very good condition. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you might need.
The swimming pool is is very nice and super clean as the staff makes sure it’s getting cleaned every morning. Also staff is very friendly and polite.
There is a car space for each room and it’s for free as you don’t need to pay extra for it. The location is great as it’s only a 5’ drive from Noosa Heads center and right next to the hotel there’s a supermarket and a couple of cafes to get a coffee or have breakfast. We also had food one time at their restaurant where the food was very delicious and staff was again very friendly and professionals.

The only negative is that there was no housekeeping at least every second day (or every 3) to change your towel, clean room and bathroom and make your bed. When I went the 3rd day to ask for some fresh towels the receptionist said that guests are meant to wash them as the room provides fully equipped washing machine and dryer. Even if someone doesn’t want to get bothered by doing laundry during holidays, you still need to if you want fresh towels. (Same thing if you want a fresh bed or cleaned bathroom). We had only one time housekeeping to clean the room etc during our 8night stay there.

Aloha MarkellaFid So lovely that you took the time to share your experience with fellow Trip Advisor reviewers. We have worked hard as a Team through the last 12 months reviewing and improving our guest's experience complimented now by the opening of Izzy Chai Restaurant open for lunch and dinner Tue - Sun from 11.00am - 9.00pm. The resort offers well appointed self-contained holiday apartments with full kitchen and laundry facilities. We don't offer daily servicing however guests receive a mid stay clean and linen change when staying 8 nights or more. If guests require an additional clean or linen change it is available at an extra charge. We can offer amazing deals to our guests by keeping the costs down whilst still providing 4.5 star accommodation. We look forward to you staying with us in the future and remember to book direct for the best rate. Regards Simone Wetherell Manager South Pacific Resort & Spa

Stayed here for four nights over xmas in a two bedroom appartment in the Australia block.

It was impeccably clean and well presented. Everything required was in the unit. At over $450 a night it is not the most economical option in town, but it ticked most of the boxes without being located right on Noosa Beach.

It is a short walk up the road to Aldi or a 5 min drive to Woolies in Noosaville.

Parking was a bit problematic for big 4x4s and ours did not fit the allocated space, so we had to jockey for a spot each day and night with the spots at the front of the resort.

Overall the unit was excellent and we enjoyed our stay.

Our family loved our stay at this inspired and beautiful resort. The gardens and grounds are immaculate and the South Pacific aesthetic makes you feel like you’ve truly escaped and arrived somewhere special. Our kids (aged 6 and 3) loved the pools and spas, which are perfectly designed for young and old. The superior units are exceptional and we appreciated the quality and attention to detail in all the rooms. The shuttle bus was very handy with quick runs into Hastings Streets a breeze. The staff were great and always friendly. A big shout out to Shelley and Sean (not sure of spelling).

Don’t get me wrong, there are some real positives here. The location is great (although a car is essential nearly everywhere on the Sunshine Coast). The pools & garden are fabulous and beautifully maintained. The space / size of our unit was great. It generally was very quiet around the resort.

There are some security issues though. Nothing is stopping any member of the public from walking through reception during the day & using the pools. No fob key access is required into the pools. Additionally, our room (both main door & balcony) were only secured with an older style push button lock. You must push the metal button to lock it when you are inside. At the bare minimum they need to upgrade to deadlocks on all outside opening doors that lock automatically when closed. Would be very easy for anyone to enter a unit if you forget to lock the door from the inside or via the balconies.

But how great your stay is will come down to the room you are assigned. Unfortunately our Unit was in dire need of renovation. It was clean & tidy but worn out. The wooden floors are very worn, the kitchen very old with yellowing appliances, the ensuite with flimsy folding doors that do not provide much privacy. The furniture was like bits & pieces from someone’s home they don’t need anymore. There were recipe books on the shelf with someone’s obviously personal notes & markings. It felt more like staying in an older relatives Holiday Home rather than a hotel. It made me uncomfortable as I felt like I was in their home using their personal possessions.

It’s clear some attempts have been made to improve the unit but really, it’s time for a complete overhaul rather than band aid fixes.

Looking into other units we walked past (& the pics online) there clearly are some beautiful ones. We just weren’t lucky enough to get one.

As there are plenty of accommodation choices on the Sunshine Coast, we would not choose to stay here again and risk the lucky dip of room standards.

Response: Dear Trip Advisor Readers This guest DID NOT stay with our holiday letting business. All apartments are privately owned at South Pacific Resort & Spa. We manage 60 of the 104 apartments that we categorized in relation to their renovation status being Budget, Standard & Superior. We do not have apartments that are furnished with mismatched furniture and none have recipe books as referenced in this guest’s review. This leads me to confidently declare that this guest did not stay with us. Instead they stayed in an AIRBnB or in a privately rented apartment in the resort that is NOT MANAGED BY OUR BUSINESS. Our apartments, regardless of their standard are cleaned to high standard. Although individually owned, furniture must be of a good standard and matching. Our website is evidence of that. We are sorry this guest chose to stay in an AIRBnB and recommend all guests book direct with the resort for the best rate, standards and service. We also ask guests to read preceding reviews on Trip Advisor that reflect the true feedback on our apartments, service and the staff. Regards Simone Wetherell Manager

Stayed for 6 nights in a one bedroom superior apartment and it was fantastic, the room was new looking with a ducted aircon which kept the room nice and cool , the kitchen was modern with the most quietest dish washer i have ever seen . The bathroom was big with a huge shower ! The lounge was comfy with a big screen TV. The bed was super comfy
The resort grounds were stunning and the pool was great to swim in on a hot day . The restaurant just opened the weekend we were there and the meal was delicious, we got takeout from there the following night .
The resort also now hold a very special place in my heart as my partner proposed while we stayed there ! So we will def be back in the future possibly for our honeymoon . Thank you for a great stay ☺️

I know it sounds cliche but honestly you have to see the lush gardens and pools to appreciate how tranquil and private this place feels. I’ve stayed at many (seriously over 20) different places in Noosa and Noosaville but I’ll stay at South Pacific next time too. It’s only 1km away from Noosaville and 3km from Noosa Heads but half to a third of the price of Hastings Street. The restaurant was closed (COVID) but apparently opening again soon. Nearby there’s an Aldi, a bakery, a Thai restaurant, and a fantastic cafe called Little Cove. The unit we stayed in (#85) was in the ‘Tahiti’ section where the balcony overlooked a lovely pool and had a serene dappled afternoon sun - just perfect for happy hour. It had been refurbished recently with a modern bathroom, a comfy bed, and new kitchen. The unit had unlimited WiFi, free Stan, Netflix, FOXTEL, and Prime so we binge-watched TV on the day it rained. Great value and a super-friendly feel.

Aloha dbuley, We are delighted to read your review of your stay at South Pacific Resort & Spa. We absolutely agree that the resort is THE best in Noosa! All the points you make sum up what a great experience guests can have when they stay with us. We are fortunate that we have some great restaurant options and Aldi within a flat easy walk of the resort. The Sunday Farmer's Market is a bonus for guests staying over weekends. All apartments are privately owned. Your apartment is set up with Stan & Netflix channels as the owner wanted it set up that way. All apartments have access to 16 Foxtel channels that are a mix of sport, news, movies, lifestyle and kids channels. We look forward to having you stay again. Remember to book direct and save! Booked a 2 bedroom unit for a family of four (kids: 10yr and 6yr) couldn't ask for a better holiday. The resort itself was fabulous and all one could ask for for a quiet holiday. Despite peak season, it was never noisy and always tranquil. The pools are great and our kids spent hours swimming day and night. Well situated with easy public transport to the main beach and Hastings means no parking woes. But its the staff who make it great. Like any good enterprise, the human factor is what drives the quality. We found the staff to be amazingly friendly, accommodating and helpful. From someone who usually doesn't bother with writing reviews...I would highly recommend South Pacific resort and spa. Thanks guys for a great holiday

Aloha Wanderer384148 A BIG thank you for reviewing our resort. The thing that pleases me the most is your reference to our staff. We have a great team here that are very proud of where they work. It clearly shows and confirmation of that is our guests compliment us on them all the time. The extensive layout of the resort over 5 acres makes you feel like you are not cramped or overcome by crowds of guests. The 4 lagoon pools offer plenty of choice. We hope to see you again soon. Made a last minute booking here due to a change of plans in our vacation itinerary and this resort was exactly what we needed. The staff were super friendly and the hotel shuttle was convenient for getting to the beach and coastal trail head on separate mornings. They even suggested a Fraser Island tour for us (which we ended up enjoying thoroughly) and booked it for us on the spot. The pools and jacuzzis were nice for an evening swim/soak.
Not to mention the room was very nice, we thought the hardwood floors were a nice touch to the apartment style setup.

I booked a resort view 3 bedroom apartment for myself and 6 girlfriends, the apartment was absolutely stunning with views of one of the 3 pools, 2 heated and a wrap around balcony it certainly did not disappoint. The apartment was well appointed and very clean and very comfortable with everything you would need including a washer & dryer.
From getting an email early morning on our day of arrival to advise we could have an early check-in to meeting the wonderful staff on checking in to then requesting a late check -out and being told that was no problem, the pools, the the resort all just wonderful and to top it all off a free shuttle service to Hastings street just 7mins away. We really couldn't ask for more.
We also visited the Noosa Spa located onsite, Matt( owner) and the salon girls provide a beautiful service followed by champagne and nibbles.

I would highly recommend this resort, we all had the best time and we will be back.

This was our first visit staying for five nights over New Year. The resort is stunning set in tropical gardens which are immaculately maintained and the facilities lobby etc are first class. We stayed in apartment 59 which was advertised as “superior” we felt it was a little tired and more standard than superior compared to photos online but spacious inside with two large balconies and quiet , we might stay again if the price was less than $350 a night off peak. Also considering peak season we were very disappointed that the bar was closed even though we were told the restaurant would be open Tuesday through to Sunday the week we stayed. Still I would recommend the place and all the staff were lovely and receptive to feedback.

Aloha declano900 Thank you for taking a moment to review our beautiful resort. All our apartments are privately owned and individually furnished. The majority of our Owners have embraced the ‘South Pacific’ theme of the resort. Your apartment has a renovated kitchen, top floor with a wrap-around balcony overlooking pool 3. Hence it being classed as Superior. It was peak time when you stayed. We have fantastic specials in the low seasons. Our rates are all on our website along with any specials we have going. It’s always best to book direct. We do price match. You can request where you want to be in the resort at the time having a good chance of getting it when you speak with us. Dear BeeBeaTravel, It seems that this spat could be resolved by you disclosing the dates you stayed and the unit number you were in. If you booked through resort management you will have received an email noting the room number and how to get the keys. As an owner in the resort we’re comfortable with the security as Noosaville is a very low crime area. If you were challenged every time that you walked through reception you would complain about that saying that’s it’s over the top. Maybe you do want that - if so stay at the Sofitel. We’re also happy with how Management looks after each unit. If something needs replacing or cleaning they are on to us straight away as they want rentable units at the highest standard.

It's $5 per towel one time and you keep the towels for your stay. We were only there for 3 nights and didn't need to exchange towels, so I can't say if they would charge you again for that. Hope this helps!
