our family booked this place on spec for us to celebrate our landmark birthdays and it was a fantastic find for a weekends stay. the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Susanne was a great host and has a wonderful knowledge of most of the local hostelries. She does a lot for the ecology too and has ex battery chickens...

It was a pleasure to stay at Poplar house. We came up for the Xmas markets and were not disappointed. The grey room was beautiful and the whole house was beautiful decorated and quirky. 5 star breakfast too with a wide selection. Very easy bus service to use with buses coming through every 10 minutes. Would definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night while we celebrated his birthday. The property itself is beautiful and well-kept. Our room was gorgeous-clean, beautifully decorated and furnished. The bathroom was spotless, elegant and had an amazing shower. The bed was big and incredibly comfortable. The dining area is also impressive. We wish we could have stayed for longer!...

Stayed at Poplar House for three nights whilst visiting the city of Bath and it's Christmas Markets. The accommodation was ideal and the hostess Suzanne was very helpful and friendly. The room was very cosy and bed extremely comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend this B&B to anybody. It was a short bus ride into Bath £2.20 per adult. Of a...

This B&B, although in Batheaston, is just perfect for a visit to Bath. We arrived early, to a very warm welcome and was able to check in and park the car (a very real bonus given the parking fees in Bath). Arangements were made to come back later but the house/room keys were given to us so no pressure. The...

Myself and my partner stayed for one night last weekend... the house is stunning, very impressive inside and out...( with parking) ..it's a ten minute drive from bath.. or £10 each way in a cab...the couple that own the property are lovely. Cooked breakfast is AMAZING. We will definitely stay again.

Our stay at Poplar House was so lovely, we wished we stayed for longer! Susanne, the owner, was so welcoming as soon as we arrived, showed us around and gave us some really helpful information about things to do and places to visit around the area. The whole house is kept in a very vintage style and felt incredibly warm...

My partner and I stayed at Poplar house for one night, although it was only one night we got the impression that Susanne would do absolutely anything for her guests in order for them to enjoy their stay. We stayed in a room called the Eaves and it was fab, very tidy and clean, if you stay in this room...
