We spent 5 nights here and can thoroughly recommend it. We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived and throughout our stay staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was large, comfortable, well air-conditioned and private. The hotel's location was truly excellent, only a 10 min walk along the beach to the shops and on one of...

The hotel is very quiet and has established gardens covered in local flowers and palm trees. A nicely sized pool with sun loungers and a good restaurant and bar, with direct beach access with more loungers on the beach. We spent 10 days here with my 3 boys (ages 11,9 & 8 yrs) and my new wife (we got married...

The hotel is very well located on a beautiful stretch of beach. I was very impressed with this little hotel, the rooms are a very comfortable size and have a good sized bed. Basic TV, AC and mini bar (empty) but plenty of space to both relax on the balcony or work on the desk. A lot of effort has...

I would describe Acajou as a boutique hotel. Directly on the beach that we shared with shared with hardly anyone during our stay. It felt like we were on our own private beach. Rooms were spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Food was tasty, dining room classy, and service incredible. From the front desk staff to the pool cleaner, we experienced...

My partner and I stayed here and at once I knew it was the right choice. Beautiful low rise rooms surrounded a lovely pool and a lush well maintained garden. Each room has a balcony/varanda and is perfect and peaceful for a getaway. Great service and a very warm welcome upon arrival and a great breakfast. It is only a...

We stayed at Acajou for 2 days and it was the best 2 days of our holiday. We arrived early and thought we would have to wait until check in time before we could get to our room....not the case. The receptionist was very helpful and we even got a complimentary fruit cocktail which was refreshing after our hour boat...

We stayed at the Acajou at the beginning of 2007, we were looking for a quiet oasis, and that is exactly what we got. If you are looking for a social hot spot or night life then look elsewhere! The place is so tranquil, the whole stay was spent speaking in relaxed, hushed tones and taking in the scenery. The...

Spent 4 nights on half-board basis with a "4th night free offer". Hotel was half empty and perfectly met our needs: we spent two days driving a car to explore Praslin (hotel perfectly handled car reservations and is well located to drive around the island) and two days relaxing at the hotel. Beach is deserted, as expected. The hotel is...

We were looking for a lively New Year at a luxurious hotel with cocktails on the beach, room service and a spicy menu........but it was not what we experienced. Very disappointed with what we would not class as a 4* hotel. You get far more value for money in Thailand or Mauritius. Rooms were very basic, no room service, no...

We booked the Acajou as we were suggested this accomodation by the internet agency as an alternative to our 1st and favorite choice in Praslin, which was fully booked. Overall we found it good value for money...significantly less expensive than 4-star hotels, Acajou has more pros than cons. The rooms (we got a deluxe seaview) were very large, clean and...
