Our hotel is a Seychelles gem, embraced in the warmth of the Indian Ocean. The pristine white coral sands of the Cote d’Or Beach at our front door will tempt you to bare your feet. The aquamarine waters that stretch towards an endless horizon will float your troubles away. Our lush lawns and tropical gardens will delight your eye with their beauty. Here there is more than sand, sea and sunshine. There is also the warmth of the Seychelles smile – making it a paradise you will never want to leave.

Paradise Sun hotel's prime beachfront location is often lauded by guests, who enjoy its proximity to local amenities and the port. While the rooms are appreciated for their spaciousness and scenic views, some visitors feel they could benefit from modern updates and better maintenance. The hotel's cleanliness and relaxing atmosphere, complete with local entertainment, consistently receive high marks.
Staff members are generally celebrated for their professionalism, though service can occasionally be hit or miss. However, some travelers question the value for money, pointing to overpriced amenities and experiences.

Best location at the end of the long Cote D'Or beach. Sunbeds and umbrellas of the Resort are distributed in a very neat way among the palm trees and in front of the sea creating a private and exclusive space. Comfortable rooms all distributed in the garden in single structures or on one floor with walk-in closet and small separate living room, bedroom with large and comfortable double bed and bathroom discreetly large and functional. Outdoor veranda with deck chairs and coffee table. Very nice restaurant on the beach with most tables on the sand, varied and good quality evening buffet with theme nights. Particularly positive note for Mr. John, who deals with the activities 'on the beach and entertainment of guests, in an extremely professional and at the same time generous and friendly trying to meet any request with extreme availability'. Among the activities included in the stay is the beautiful cruise organized twice a week to the most beautiful beaches of Praslin with snorkeling included. In addition there is the possibility to use kayaks and paddles with which to reach in a few minutes a beautiful island just in front of the beach complete with lagoon. Right next to the Paradise accessible from the wide beach is Cafe Des Artes, one of the most popular Beach Bars on the island with open air music every night. For us a very pleasant week.

Nice hotel . Delicious food. Beautiful nature . Ferry's 15 minutes away. Taxi 200 rupees . The main thing is to haggle, otherwise 350 can be charged to you. The ferry was hell, bad for everyone. Swam into a big storm. The pills didn't help. Nature drives you crazy. Beautiful beach , beautiful palm trees , white sand . Lots of fruit , cafe shops and exchangers . Car 50 euros per day (passport license not needed ) ans Lazio 100 rupees with car for parking all day ( toilet , shower free and restaurant can spend 100 rupees paid for parking . Mango papaya , bananas 25 rupees. The rate for the new year was 15.25 to 1 euro. Beers 35 and 55. Minus not the hotel but the minus of this beach (Sandfly. You don't feel that little midge bite right away, but then hell breaks loose. Already in Moscow and the wounds do not go away. Back bites 20-30 are also left new. There's no such thing on the lazio and the churn. Buy the products for these flies in advance. Otherwise there will be hell.

Visited this amazing hotel in september, 9 nights. It really is beautiful, perfectly placed between a tropical garden and the turquoise ocean, a real paradise! We were warmly received and everybody was extremely nice and helpful. The beach is fabulous: softy white sand, palm trees, beautiful sea, safe to swim. Take watershoes as there are sting rays, as well as in other beaches, like anse Lazio. You can walk in the beach for like 30 minutes, it is the biggest in Praslin and one of the prettiest, very safe and with ATM, shops, restaurants. This hotel has a great location, there is a bus stop near by and you can also rent a car or arrange for boat tours with the hotel. It is a 15 min drive to the ferry to La Digue, 15 min drive to Anse Lazio or Valle de May. The food is very good and the hotel's restaurant at the beach is just amazing! Great burgers! At dinner you have to pay for drinks, including water, like in other half board hotels across the world. You get 2 bottles of water in your bedroom every day and you also have water, tea, cofee, juice and cakes for free at the afternoon tea, a really nice touch. The Sunset Cruise offered by the hotel is a must: snorkelling and beautiful views of anse Lazio and anse Georgete. Fabulous atmosphere all over the hotel as all comon areas are open, you can always hear the birds and the ocean. Really relaxing! The bedroom is very nice, huge and comfortable bed, great balcony with sea views, good bathroom. It is not new but its beautiful, everything works perfectly and is very comfortable. The one thing I didnt love is the geckos inside the bedroom, even though they are very small and I admit they dont really bother that much.

I am currently in this facility, August 3, 2023 I am amazed at how a structure where they ask for 500 to 700 euros per night can offer continuous disservices. Old hotel, beach always full of seaweed and never cleaned, rude and arrogant staff, non-existent swimming pool, restaurant where you can eat on the sand even in the evening, they didn't make a wooden floor, the room that is sold on a half board basis is sold at a very high price for what it offers, I have visited other hotels on the island, it is the absolute worst hotel on Praslin, never come: You will have a terrible holiday Luckily I'm leaving in 2 days it's a nightmare, dinner is a mess. This evening a bottle of wine spilled and I wasn't offered to change it but only the bill of drinks was brought to me without asking me anything. Never seen something like this: Rooms are cleaned very badly, dirty floors. No more to say but really, I have traveled the world and hundreds of hotel facilities and paying 500 euros a night to have these inconveniences makes you very angry.

Our room was good, with plenty of storage, good air conditioning and shower pressure. Wi-fi was fast and consistent. There was a furnished veranda looking onto a grass area with a partial sea view. Housekeeping was also good, though sometimes rooms were made up quite late in the afternoon. The bed was comfortable, but there were floodlights outside the room and some considerable off-site music several nights which all meant sleep quality was not as good as it could, and should, have been.
The 2.5km long beach here is superb with a very shallow slope and no perceptible currents; it is all white sand and very few people seem to go on it, particularly when you walk a few hundred metres from the nearby village, Anse Volbert. So walking the beach was very pleasant. The hotel warned of stingrays, so we wore beach shoes; but we never saw any, nor heard that anyone else had. There were plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas by the beach.
There was some entertainment by day (cooking with coconuts was interesting) and live music alternate nights – some bands much better than others. The complimentary sunset cruise was pleasant.
We stayed on a half board basis. Breakfast and afternoon tea were somewhat average and felt produced to a budget. At dinner the starters, and sometimes the desserts, were usually acceptable but almost every night the main course was really unappetising. Most evenings it was almost inedible. All meals were buffet but there were no labels to say what the various foods were. We discussed all this several times with the manager (at his request), but he seemed unable to improve matters. And they charged £5 for a bottle of water in the restaurant (though two litres of filtered water was provided free in the rooms each day).
Overall, the staff could have been much more friendly and more helpful; they all seemed very gloomy and nobody was capable of a smile.
Overall, this hotel was very average even though it is located on a lovely beach. The food is poor and the staff attitude did not encourage us to return.

On arrival, we were very disappointed by the hotel infrastructure which is when listed as a 4 star and whose published photos are beautiful! The bungalows are aging, the air conditioning only refreshes the bedroom and living area, as soon as you go into the bathroom, the dressing room (poorly arranged no room for the couple's clothes) or the toilet you drip and the heat is suffocating. The beach was full of stinging sand flies and the water filled with rays, impossible to swim! Fortunately the majority of the hotel staff are adorable, kind, smiling and professional. For wifi, you have to reconnect 10 times a day because the connection just skips and the applications offered on TV as a video bonus do not work and the answers we had are "it's like that"! I think we should lower the stars of this hotel and make it clear to travelers that unless they are bold they will not be able to swim in this Volbert cove which is really beautiful in the photos. When you take full board the lunch menu is very very restricted especially if you have to eat there several days. It was for us, I say, a disappointing experience considering the years since we have been saving to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary in Seychelles.

A very beautiful and well-kept complex! Very clean and, above all, exceptional rooms - you can open the front completely and enjoy the sea from your bed! Everything has been thought of here too! The rooms have candles, scented spirals (against mosquitoes) and even insect spray! The advantageous layout of the buildings also gives you privacy! The staff is very attentive and friendly! The food is very varied and extremely tasty! There is something for everyone! The breakfast restaurant and restaurant (even on the sand and right by the sea) are completely open and there is (luckily) no dress code! However, there is a general problem in the Seychelles - everything is very expensive! 0.5 l beer in the hotel - €10 and even in the supermarket the 0.33l bottle costs over €2! Nevertheless - we had a wonderful time here - thank you very much for that!

The minute we got out of the taxi we were disappointed. This hotel was dark and dank. We were greeted by the grumpiest unfriendliest men who told us to SIT like a sergeant major. He gave us and another couple the most tiresome talk about the times for breakfast etc. and stressed that we only got ONE bottle of water each a day. I asked him if I could have the wi-fi code (as was waiting on an important email) and his angry reply was "You'll get it with your room".
Our room was okay but the en-suite was very dated and there no storage. There was woodworm and what looked like insect killer to the the right of our safe. I pointed this out to the receptionist the next morning and we were told it would be removed - it never was and remained there for the duration of our stay. The air conditioning unit was very noisy, didn't cool down the room and kept me awake all night as blew cold air on me all night despite adjusting the angle many times.
When we went for dinner the first night it was a buffet! A buffet dinner is my pet hate in hotels and if this had been made clearer on the website we wouldn't have booked it The food was barely edible. Each night is themed and it was Italian night. We barely ate and went for a walk down the beach and found a nice cocktail bar.
The breakfast the next morning was no better so we went out locally for lunch as were starving.
The only positive thing I have to say about the hotel is that the beach it's built on is stunning and the way the cabins are arranged in semi circles so each room has an unrivalled view is lovely. There were two nice waiters at dinner and one lovely waitress. The lady who made the omelettes at breakfast was sweet and one of the receptionists too. As nobody wore name tags I can't give any names.
The food on the second day was much better with the breakfast and dinner being very tasty and we were offered a lovely table on the beach. However, on our last day it was the same bad food, unpleasant staff again. It rained so heavy that the roof was leaking and there were puddles all over the floor at breakfast. A waitress standing beside the largest puddle ignored it as was talking to a guest and when I threw a few dirty napkins on it to stop people slipping she yelled at me saying that's not what they were for. I replied that somebody had to react!!!
There were people there who were enjoying themselves and judging by the amount of times they visited the buffet they found the food good. However, it was not for my husband and I.
The hotel needs a serious facelift and the bathrooms need to be updated. Also, staff moral needs to improve.
Thankfully we only stayed 3 nights and moved on to another Seychellos island.
Definitely not four star in my opinion. I rarely give bad reviews.

Poorly maintained structure in the pool, some tiles are missing and the water is not exactly clean. Every day the ocean retreats leaving algae all over the beach, the resorts next door clean up daily allowing tourists to enjoy a clean beach here NO. the Wi-Fi keeps cutting out and doesn't work everywhere The food is average Ultimately the price (very expensive) is not worth it. Be careful, although the agency had assured us that on the day of departure we could stay in the room for up to an hour from the transfer, in the morning at ten they practically kicked us out, if we wanted to stay a few more hours we had to pay €100. Surprise…. At check out you must pay a tax of 200 rupees per day for the duration of the holiday. There are places that cost around 1500 euros less and are far better than these. I recommend Sugar Beach in Mauritius. A fairy tale

Wonderful stay. Smiling staff who take great care of hotel guests.
Paradise Sun organized our transfer from Praslin airport at our request, which was convenient.
The rooms have a lot of charm. Comfortable bedding. Lots of little intentions when we arrived in the room: basket of fruit, bottle of wine, ball and hats for the children, beach rackets... All rooms have sea views. The wooden deck chairs on the terrace are very pleasant for strolling around.
The hotel beach is beautiful. However, you should bring water shoes because there are a lot of sand rays. Behind the beach, there are plenty of small shops easily accessible: small supermarket, souvenir shop,...
The swimming pool is well maintained and warm.
The breakfasts are delicious. There are many choices. For the evening buffets, there is a different theme every evening: Italian, sea, international,... We ate very well.
Next to the hotel, on the beach, we booked an excursion on the Swann boat with Kreol Services. It was grandiose. We had the chance to see Georgette Cove, Lazio Cove, curious St Pierre Islet...snorkeling and swimming in magical coves.
Family delighted with their stay. Thanks to the entire Paradise Sun team. ❤️
