The villa was about an hour's drive from Corfu town. We went along the coastal route, winding along the mountainside with beautiful views, passing through more popular tourist locations and little towns before arriving at Villa Alexina, up from the little village of Perithia. We had a lovely welcome pack waiting for us so we didn't have to race to...

that nobody ever, ever tells anybody about Villa Alexina. Ever. We don't want the place cluttered up with other people enjoying themselves. We want it exclusively for our own use. We have never stayed in a more delightful and charming place, or with kinder people, and we want to go back, but we haven't yet worked out our dates and...

We had read reviews of Villa Alexina and were concerned that it could not match the superlatives written. Believe me, they did not lie or exaggerate! It is a most delightful property, full of olde-worlde charm and in the most magnificent location. It is set back about one and a half miles from the rather commercialised coastline, surrounded by what...

What can I say - absolutely idyllic accommodation set in the hills and olive groves, and a short drive to the beach. The terrace is the perfect place to while away the hours over breakfast, lunch and dinner, enjoy a drink and watch the sunset over the sea. The pool is fantastic for a quick dip to cool down and...

Set amongst beautiful olive groves on the side of the mountain, this atmospheric 17th century Venetian manor house exceeded our expectations. There are plenty of family games available, as well as reliable Wi-Fi and the house has everything else you might need. The terraces, balconies and pool are all lovely and the views - from any vantage point - are...

Oh my goodness, late spring is a wonderful time to be in Corfu! Bees buzzing in the orange blossom, clear blue sea and views across to the snow-topped mountains of Albania. We loved exploring beaches along the cost, eating mouth-burstingly fresh fruit and vegetables and eating Alex's marmalade on fresh bread in the morning. The youngest of our party went...

We spent two idyllic weeks at Villa Alexina in September 2012 - a holiday we shall remember, not only for the charm and comfort of the villa, the beautiful and romantic pool, the vine-covered terrace overlooking a serene landscape of hills, olive groves and sea, but also for the warmth of the welcome we received from our hosts, from the...

Our family of seven, including kids aged 12-22, converged from many parts of the globe for a three week holiday on the beautifully restored Villa Alexina, that commands the heights of the small village of Perithia. The varied and demanding tastes of the tribe were well met by the Villa and its surrounds as well as the resourcefulness and friendliness...

We took our daughters and grandchildren for two weeks July/August, and all of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming or helpful, changing beds around for our various requirements, giving us advice and reservations for places to swim and eat, and keeping the lovely pool pristine for our noisy grandchildrens' antics. The north of the...
