First, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had some trouble getting some reservations confirmed with them, but everything worked out. Khandi did a great job! They didn't have our reservation until late one night and when we asked about it the next morning, they worked it out and had our lunches ready to go for us which were fantastic....

The view is nice and if you want to stay in a log cabin this is close to the real thing. They are old and the floor has shifted a lot. It is very noticeable and you feel like you are going to fall out of the one side of the queen bed. The room is very very small with...

First, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our cabin was in the 4th row and a trek uphill with suitcases. We were thankful for the shuttle that took us uphill to our cabin. It was very quiet, peaceful and the cabin quaint. Keep in mind, the cabins are built on the side of a pretty steep hill. Issues other...

I have stayed here four times for one night each time. The first three experiences were fine, but the internet never worked once. This is in the middle of nowhere, and even data on a cell phone hardly works, so I wasn't surprised nor too inconvenienced. The front desk staff apologized each time and knew there were "issues" there. The...

The good 1) The view: This place must have the best views of any hotel accommodation in Denali. From your little cabin, from the bar, from the restaurant deck, or from the hot tub. The view across the valley is second to none 2) The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Especially Nina at the front desk will bend...

The rating is based on three parts; check-in, cabins and access. Check-in - We arrived at 2:40 and asked if there was a chance our cabin was ready, we were told check-in was 3:00pm. Would you mind checking to see if our cabin is ready, no, check-in is at 3:00pm. I'm not sure that I have been to a hotel/motel...

My family of 4 stayed here in July of 2016. The pictures looked beautiful and I thought maybe we would have a little more room in a "cabin" than a hotel room. Not the case at all!!! My boys slept on the pullout sofa bed which pulled out all the way to the bed. Therefore, once the pullout was down...

Super cute. Comfy bed. Adequate bathroom facilities. Stairs to rooms aren't so bad - not a major consideration in our case -but be prepare for short flights up to your cabin. Staff is friendly and responsive. Van service provided to and from train station and bus tour by friendly young drivers. But, there are some negatives. We booked five cabins...

We stayed here in June and had a wonderful stay! We had booked a room on the 5th level and yes, there are stairs to climb, but there was always someone around to ferry us up to that level in a golf cart, if we needed any help, (we are both in our 60's). The driver was at the train...

Given the name and concept you should be prepared for lots of steps, however, some of those steps can be hazardous. Apparently there are no building codes in Alaska as there are conduits and wires swinging off rear side of the cabins. Nothing is level! The rooms are slanted so much so that the water will not drain out of...
