The room was nothing special, and it was a long uphill trek to the main lodge, but that's OK--we weren't there much except to sleep. This trip was an add-on package from Holland America Cruises for our Inside Passage cruise, and we took the train into Alaska (Anchorage to Denali) to see the national park and make a couple of...

We stayed here because it was part of the cruise package. Even though it is at the end of the town that's not saying much, it is still close to everything around. If you don't want to walk the resort has shuttles to get your around town. Nice place to stay clean and well taken care of.

thought we were staying in a higher end resort , however the rooms are in smaller buildings staggered through out the property with no parking near your room, you either have to use their shuttles (which do come around often) or tote your luggage. the rooms were okay, but noisy and pretty simple for the amount charged.also it puts you...

I loved our stay here. We stayed the night after the last day of the road lottery. Our room rate was low. We stayed in the lower campus. We had two rooms. One held a king size bed. The other was a sitting room with a pull out sofa. There was no fridge or microwave. I suspect this was on...

Location was spectacular! We love the mountains! Unfortunately we could only stay 2 nights. Hotel was in great location - close to other hotels, eateries and shops. All within walking distance however shuttle buses are available. Shuttle buses into the park are very easily accessible and very frequent. Hotel staff were very friendly - the cafe in the corner was...

DO NOT STAY HERE! They give you BED BUGS! I stayed at McKinley Chalet Resort for two night mid-September. During my stay I got many itching bites, which I thought was an allergy symptom. The bad symptoms didn't go away after taking allergy medicine and became worse when I got home. I went to the doctor, who told me they...

Group of 4, myself, my husband, his 82 yr old father and 81 yr old aunt. Loved the whole cruise-land trip. The constant shuttles made it easy to get the elderly around the resort as did the ingenious room layout - 2nd floor room but no stairs to navigate . The views were spectacular and we loved meeting all the...

We spent 2 nights here before starting our cruise. The rooms were great! The beds were so comfortable! Mostly, the scenery was breathtaking! You are surrounded by a rolling river , behind the resort, majestic mountains all around and a lovely resort with several choices for dining, some with firepits . This is a great resort that you should visit if...

There is no lodging inside the Park, and this is a just a few miles outside the park entrance. There is a free regular shuttle bus from the resort to the park. The resort also has regular shuttles around the property. It sits just off the Nenana River, which was right behind our building. It is owned by Holland America....
