Impeccable service, really beautiful rooms with a lot of character and a genuinely peaceful atmosphere. It's not particularly cheap, but worth the extra dollars in my opinion. The massages and yoga classes are good quality. You should know that drinks are not included in the price of the meals - they didn't tell us that in advance. The wifi wasn't...

Beautifully situated in the Knuckles away from the bustle of Kandy. We stayed for three nights and relaxed in the Mountain room, walked to the waterfall and swam in the river where we saw white bellied sea eagles twice. Loved the eccentricity of this great mountainside project. All the rooms are furnished with antiques with great attention to detail. Highly...

We stayed in here for two nights during our tour of Sri Lanka. It is a truly amazing and unique experience. You are staying in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by nature. The whole place is stunning and decor is quirky due to all the fabulous antiques. We met the wonderful owner, Waruna, at his antique shop in Kandy...

We stayed here for two nights this week. Amazing location and unique accommodation in the middle of the jungle. It truly was one of the most beautiful places we have stayed. Great scenery and walks, you fall asleep to the sound of running water and the wildlife around you. Just a couple of warnings; this hotel is truly remote, the...

It is very shocking to see this "Centre" received so many good ratings. In my opinion it is not worth the price it is charging (>USD100) at all, given its super basic amenities and bad location. Be very careful if you decide to chose this hotel for the following reasons: 1. Location: It is located deep in the jungle and...

wow. Wow. and WOW. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and stumbled across the Samadhi Centre online. We spent the day at the Sirigiya and then took a bus/tuk tuk/taxi combo to the Centre. We were greeted by the redonkulously friendly, attentive and professional staff and dug right into the terrific buffet. We were shown to our room...

We wanted somewhere nice to stay in Kandy and this place had rave reviews. We decided to stay here for a night and it was a terrible mistake. For a start, the location sucks so badly. This is not even Kandy proper, it's an hour drive from Kandy! Unless driving up winding mountain roads at night are your idea of...

Several guides and the website say this centre is vegetarian and no alcohol which is not the case? They had beer and wine Our only complaint is that everything felt damp including the bed and sheets. Great food.

You only live once, so you must experience this place. The whole place is a work of art. We stayed here 2 nights on our honeymoon. The first day we stayed in and enjoyed the place. The hotel and staff are impeccable. The waterfalls downstairs, the massage and steam bath, the climbs to the room, the furniture and decoration pieces...
