Second visit but definitely not our last! Very friendly staff - Matilda is wonderful as is Spiros. Thank you for a perfect family holiday. Wish we were still there. Rooms are clean but basic and bathrooms can get a bit whiffy (think it is probably the drains). Food at the bar is reasonably priced and very good.

This was our fifth stay at the Elpida, it is the perfect place to relax by the pool and forget the daily routine at home. The family are lovely people and will do every thing they can to help if there's a problem. Spiros is lovely and we have become good friends with him and his wife Van, they are...

I would like to start of with the positives for the hotel it was clean and the family that owned the hotel were very nice from the few times we spoke to them. It has a little shop on site. The bus to Zante town picks up outside the hotel as well. This is not a hotel if you don't...

Dear Guest I would like to thank you for taking the time to write a review about my hotel and i am really sorry to read that you had such a bad experience staying with us. Our hotel is a family hotel as it is advertised in the brochures and therefore during the school holidays there are children staying there....

Stayed here for 2 weeks end of July beginning of August. The hotel is very basic but the friendliness of Spiros really makes this hotel. Our room overlooked the main road so it was quite noisy at night could do with double glazed doors but once you put the air con on it did drown out some of the road...

We stayed in a couples room (it also had a truckle bed) which was wonderfully clean, well kept and regularly cleaned by very friendly staff. Spiros and his delightful family couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. They all work extremely hard to ensure every visitor got the best from their holiday. The children's area of the pool was always...

We love the Elpida. This was our fourth visit. It offers everything we need - very clean quite large rooms, friendly hosts and a lovely pool. There are no pool politics, so you don't need to be up at 6am to get your sunbed! Rooms are pretty spacious and have what you need if you want a simple place to...

We stayed in a family room with the upstairs part. The room was adequate for what we needed, sleep & wash. I probably wouldn't cook here as the space is very small in the kitchen area. The fridge was fine and the water for the shower was fine too. Spiros was very helpful and along with his happy smile was...

Elpida is 5 minutes walk to all the Restutants and bars of Alykanas, it's a lovely hotel with amazing staff, they are all so friendly, there is a shop on site where you can purchase everything you need for self catering, they have a snack...
