We stayed for 3 nights at Sunrock Hostel and loved everything about this place, starting from an amazing terrace view overlooking a beautiful beach which is just 200m away, offering the best sunset we have ever seen; the fresh salads and sandwiches and everything that is edible is home-made. They have their own kitchen gardens, animal farms and vineyards. The...

From the moment I arrived at Sunrock I felt welcomed. Madelena and the family have a beautiful spot that has rooms from 18 euro which includes a two course evening meal and breakfast. There are also garden ensuite rooms and if you are feeling the lurve 2 x doubles with your own private sunset (book to ensure you are not...

Whoever decided to call sun rock a hostel got it wrong. As soon as you walk in you realise it is so much more than that. You are immediately welcomed into a big Greek family, complete with kids, dogs and the cat. What you get is a true cultural experience because for your stay here you get to experience life...

A friend and I booked a week away from London, UK to spend on the beautiful island of Corfu. We were NOT disappointed!!! Madalena runs the hostel with her family and her husband does all the shuttling of goods and of guests back and forth from the hotel to the airport in Corfu Town. The hostel itself was prefect -...

We booked this hostel 2 months before we arrived with promises of a lovely, homely stay - organic farm etc etc. I backpacked through a 3rd world country for 5 months and have never had a worse experience than this. When we arrived we were told that yes, the booking was in their records but they had double booked -...

Hostel has a great view to the sea and most beautiful sunsets. It is little bit isolated from the main road and the rest of the village (you need go up for few 100 meters if you are without car to reach main road, bus etc.) but it is very close to the beach. Everybody were extra chilled, pleasant and...

This is a very good hostel and definitely one of the cheapest in Corfu. The staff is very kind and friendly, especially Madalena, the owner, who makes great goat cheese :) The beach is so close, just 2-3 minutes to the beach, we had free transfers to and from the airport, food is excellent, and all in all, we had...

Magadelena & the family are so lovely, welcoming & have a brilliant sense of humour. The traditional Greek dishes for both breakfast & dinner were amazing, fresh & all included in the price! As well as this you get free transfers to & from the airport (tip: on arrival exit the airport turn left and walk down the road til...

I stayed here on an extended stay in Greece and I absolutely loved it! It was the perfect backpackers hostel. Cheap, close to the water and laid-back. The family that runs it is very nice and welcoming. You immediately feel part of the family and they cook amazing Greek meals from scratch with the ingredients coming from their own organic...
