We’ve recently returned from a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Medano. The location is stunning and the hotel terrific value for money. You will be asked to settle your room bill on arrival. Insist from the start that you want to be billed in Euros, which gives you a better exchange rate than paying in GB pounds. Our room (307)... More

Hello travellers, spend a week of winsurfing holiday in this hotel (El Medano Hotel) during 1-8/8/2012. The hotel is very simple in terms of rooms. The location of the hotel is amazing ! in the middle of the center of this small village (El Medano). the staff in the reception is very helpfull and friendly. It is a 5 minute... More

There is not a lot wrong given you can get dinner b/b for 2 for £50 on travel republic. Its in a great spot with nice clean rooms helpfully staff, good reception area, great sun deck, and passable food, try and do that for £25 anywhere!!

We had one night here after a late flight. WE drove around, and around, and around for about 40 mins then realised that there is no direct vehicular access to this hotel, nor is there a dedicated drop off stop. Perhaps it was a school boy error on my part in the booking, but it wasn't a good start. We... More

Read the reviews before we went so were open minded and the hotel is a real find of a place and looks to be on the upward slope. We had fresh linen every day, fresh towels and soaps and bizarelly tooth brushes and paste and a comb also. Staff were superb and very friendly with out being overbearing and soon... More

This hotel is ideal if you are arriving in the Airport late at night and want to get a room nearby. The resort is very spanish and not spoilt. The hotel is clean and the food is good. It is on the beach and less than 10 mins taxi from the Airport.

This hotel is very basic for the price.100 euros for one night bed and breakfast should get you more. Stayed one week, the cleaners only left soap once. The cleaning left a lot to be desired ,actually timed them one day 7 minutes to clean, says it all. That was how petty it became. The furniture and decor resemble a school dormitory.
