In many ways this would be the perfect oasis. Ideally situated in the centre of Lanzarote, away from the tourist-ridden playas. Set in beautiful grounds, Casa Tomaren is a peaceful and stylish refuge. However, our Casa Grande was disappointingly Casa Grubby! Although the house is spacious, it is not a comfortable place to spend a week. The plumbing is erratic,...

INNKEEPER’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 26 January 2017

After 3 years, we finaly visited Lanzarote again and of course stayed here, in Casa Tomaren. The place didn't loose the nice ambience and comfort. In fact, it gained some improvements you wouldn't see in the beginning. There is a heated pool, AC, with heating function in all rooms, new great espresso machine in the breakfast room and many minor...

Dark villa, cluttered with furniture and rugs, which made it very dusty. No hot water in the kitchen, safe not working, several light bulbs were blown - and never replaced. Apart from Magda who was very helpful, there were no other receptionist/managing staff available during the week we stayed (4 -11 Feb) The exercise room was unavailable for use

We stayed in the deluxe double room within the house. The hotel showed promise, the pictures looked idealic, the rugged backdrop stunning and the pool shaded by the wind an ideal place to sit, read a book and grab some rays! Unfortunately, the venue simply gets the very basics wrong. Our room was never tidied, despite reminders, the bins were...

Very nice place, friendly staff, beautiful appartments, clean, great breakfast and lovely pool and jacuzzi. The pool and jaccuzi is in a lava bubble, that makes it lovely. And the pool is heated so even in Februar you can have a swim. They also love children here.

Hello Baretiree, Thanks for all your advice. The only thing we can not improve is the weather ;) even if we tried. If you come back next year, you will found a change in the villas and studios, we are working for it. Regards, Natalia

My sister and I recently travelled here and it was very good value for money given the time of year. Our villa slept 6 people so we had plenty of room. The downside were that the furniture was not comfortable and I felt like it needed a good hoover and a dust. The showers were cumbersome and hot water took...

We had a great stay at Tomaren! Not only is it a beatiful, but the hospitality was also great! Because of an early arrival of the plane, we arrived at 10. 30 AM, and we were invited to have a breakfast and a shower. And after a short stay at the swimmingpool, we could stay at our studio (beautiful!). The...

Casa Tomaren was in a beautiful quiet location in the middle of the island, with only a 20-minute drive to anywhere on the island. Very helpful staff who were able to tell you all you wanted to know about everywhere. Nicely decorated throughout both inside and outside and a great breakfast buffet. We would definitely stay there again as you...
