The far out beach club was a very memorable experience. I’ll start with the positives. The party atmosphere is amazing! Music and drink all day long. The daily cleaning service to the bedrooms is ideal and our maid ‘Moma’ was an absolute diamond, she always had a smile on her face despite our extremely messy room. The staff at reception were exceptionally friendly especially Christof and pabloe, there was never a problem too big or too small. Food was reasonable, I’d definitely recommend the stone baked pizza, the pizza man is very accommodating towards ones dietary needs.

I must now talk about the negatives. Simply HILLS!! Our apartment was situated the furtherest away from the resort and was on the very top a horrendous hill! In 30 degrees heat and hungover this hill is extremely annoying! There was a buggy service that dropped us to rooms on the first day. I suggest that to solve the hill crisis this service of transportation should be available all the times, day and night! I know far out cannot take responsibility for the bus service but I must mention that the last bus service into town is before midnight. This is also very annoying as there is even more HILLS to climb not to mention a 50 minute walk into the town (there and back). You might ask why did we not get a taxi, the answer is simple ‘they are nowhere to be seen!!!’

I hope that my review will be helpful for future guests and also to far out beach club, Thank you.

We got recommended this accomodation by everyone we talked to but honestly felt it was overrated. We opted for the ‘Basic twin private- shared bathroom’ which was a white circular hut, you will see photos. There needs to be more clarification when you are booking as to what you are getting. All round it was a really fun atmosphere and they had lots of events on and the shared spaces (except bathrooms) were great!

The atmosphere of the bar is great if you like parties. We had a private double room shed thing with air conditioning. It was clean enough. The bathroom wasn't the best though, as several of the toilets had unflushed poop in them and there was no hand soap in the bathroom.

We stayed in a room with a private bathroom and I can say that the room is very nice, modernly decorated, spacious and clean with a large terrace and a wonderful view. The room has a safe, TV and air conditioning. The hotel complex is huge, there are various types of accommodation, beautifully landscaped surroundings. It has a self-service restaurant, a beautiful swimming pool, and sports fields. It is located right next to one of the most beautiful beaches on Ios, and the public transport. For those who like to be surrounded by young people and don't mind the music during the day, which stops around 10 pm. After the end of the main music, some young people continue the party on their terraces, so that may be a problem for some, but it didn't bother us. I absolutely recommend this accommodation.

THE MOST LIER PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN.

Worst staff ever. The men's that was in charge at 3.30 AM on 29 of June 2015 littleraly said to me "I don't care what you need", we even ask the guy his name and he lies to us telling his name was "Pedro" and laught at our faces. They say it's a "hotel of party that never sleeps" A LIE!!! Everything close at 3 am and the staff don't ever care of your needs. Please don't EVER stay here. All we wanted was a TV to watch our country playing the futbal semi finals, the told us in the evening there was no problem... Again a LIE!!!!'

2 person bungalows? If you want to don't have air and not even a window, stay here.

THE ARE A LOT OF NICE HOTELS WHIT NICE STAFF IN THE ISLAND, THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE.

Filthy facilities, very noisy, full of teenagers and 20's guys from all over Europe that drink and smoke (whatever can be...smoked!) all day long. The music from the bar area, is playing very loud all day long. Baths and WC are worse than being in Iran Military Camp. The pool water is dark green! With 200 people splashing their dirty feet in, drinking coctails and beers, getting drunk and pouring their drink in the pool... No quiet to sleep in the night. Fights, between the worst tourist class, that this Island has every year... will keep you awake and anxious. Some one was talking at 03:00 in the morning of torching with flame the camp tent of our neighboor!!! The second morning, a guy had throw up next of our tent, and was sleeping dead, on our shoes, just outside of our tent!

We stayed there two nights (from the initial purpose of a 7 days holiday) and left the 3rd morning, as we couldn't feel safe and the hapiness of the vacation had been gone!

If you are a not a sex-nad drugs-and rock and roll fan do not even think about it, for this place. And for the Island, maybe, as the whole summer becomes a Wild Party Zone.

Too pity, because is it's a really beatiful island!

Note: Stayed in cabin with shared bathroom

Where do I begin with the bathroom?? They are absolutely filthy, the most disgusting I have been to out my entire hostel jumping travel life.

The bathrooms weren’t cleaned the entire 2 days we have been here so far - and if they were cleaned then yuck because they were still horrible.
The toilets don’t have toilet paper. They also alternative between having faeces stains or vomit stains. Which is disgusting.
I didn’t attempt to shower here because the showers hadn’t been cleaned and they looked filthy.
There is no hand soap - not even a container for hand soap and there is no hand dryer.

For your own hygiene and sanity stay somewhere!

The cabin however was decent and had aircon which worked well. Only issue was the bathroom which is a major issue.

This is the most disgusting hotel/camping I have ever stepped foot in. Lived in a "2bed private" for 2 nights. Blood, semen and black mold on the madrasses. It was small, had not even a small fan, bed linen or a power outlet. The employes were irretated when you wanted to charge your phone in the reception. The worst part though was the bathrooms and showers^^.
1 night - there's puke in the showers. Seriously. Almost every toilet clogged with poo.
2 night- there's poo all over bathroom, the whole thing, like diarrea...you could not even go in there.

I stayed in a 2 bedded hit with air con. Was nice and clean. The far out place is great. Pool restaurant snacks drinks and the beach is just over the road. I travelled with busabout and this is one they recommend so I would go for this too. I had to share bathroom but they where clean and had hot water.

Huge backpacking/party hostel. $10 a night tents if you don't want aircon or any power or any sleep. We stayed in one of the new private double rooms on top of the hill. Rip off for €30 a night each. Airconditioning costs an extra €5 a night. It did have a small fridge which was good.

The kitchen/restaraunt is the best bit about the place. Priced well and good sized meals. Go next door to use the pool and wifi if you don't want to deal with drunk idiots and dance music from midday onwards.
