The place is literally a small paradise with total privacy.
Before we came we saw pictures but in person it is really even more beautiful.
The combination of the environment, the pool and the architecture guarantee a relaxing and fulfilling experience.
It's the best choice for a couple.
The staff was very helpful and polite.
Next time we come we will stay for even longer!

Our favorite stay of our trip in Bali with my girlfriend. The villa, the pool, the terrace view and location in the middle of the rice paddies are gorgeous! I would totally recommend it to couples looking for an authentic experience! Lovely, we will come again for sure!
Thanks Eva for welcoming us!

The Kawan Antique Villa is a small piece of heaven in the middle of paddy fields close to the center of Ubud run by one of the nicest and most caring host families I‘ve ever met! I miss it already and would come back any time.

Be careful… this villa is not 200 square meter … it is 30 square meters on a land that is 200 square meters …
The swimming pool is nice … the house is ok but extremely remote from all the rest of Ubud.
No way to get lunch or diner here!
And the staff is really not as nice as in other places.
They will not make any effort to help you … they have strict rules to follow from the owner and they follow them.
At night neighbors burned a lot of plastic and the smoke was in the villa nearly all night …
Not our best night in Bali!

Honeymoon occasion booking was cancelled without notice because owner of the hotel tried to deduct the payment from the credit card before the due date so he got the decline. After speaking with him he had a double booking for the same villa so he couldn't provide the reservation again.
Very disappointing especially on a special occasion !!!!!!!!!!!!

Where to start, if you are visiting Bali this place is a must. We went to Ubud for three nights and spent our duration here. The Villa itself is just perfect, tranquil and peaceful. The perfect place to recharge your batteries. Eva and Pasek looked after us from the moment we arrived at the airport and couldn't do enough throughout our stay. They kindly arranged the airport transfer, dropped us off and collected from Ubud centre each day and also provided a fully guided tour to the most spectacular places possible, including a local Waterfall, Temple, Monkey sanctuary and Coffee plantation. All of which are a must. We are already excited to arrange our next trip to Ubud and the only shame is, I hadn't done it sooner. Thank you so much for making our holiday the most memorable ever!

From the moment Pasak picked us up from the airport to the last breakfast Eva cooked for us, this bona fide teak Java villa is amazing. We stayed for 5 nights and like many other reviewers did not want to leave. Eva and Pasak worked diligently to make sure we were okay catering for our every need. The property is better in person than the pictures and make sure to ask Eva to prepare you a floating breakfast, it is a unique experience you can have in your private pool. The villa comes with a motorbike (for a nominal daily charge) and is good enough to get you to all the sights you need to get to around Ubud. If it rains ask Pasak to take you to your destination of choosing within Ubud, a great perk indeed. You can also have massages at the property, along with a scrub and a flower bath... yeah they really do pretty much everything here. Glad we stayed and the warm hospitality that we were shown cannot be expressed enough making this a truly special stay.

There is only one problem staying here...you don’t want to leave!we stayed 2 nights here as part of our honeymoon tour. We really regret to have not spent more days in this little paradise!we arrive there with a driver from Kuta and I have to say the street which leads you to the house is a little tiny..our driver called the number provided to us upon booking and with the right instructions he managed to get us in.we were welcomed by Eva whom with her first class service explained to us all the facilities in the room after a very nice welcome fresh juice!the room is right size bathroom with shower and bath!hot and cold water. Towels for the bathroom and for the pool..and a lot of frangipani flowers who makes you feels in the little paradise. Eva gave us all the info about Balinese dance and so on and we requested a motorbike which was brought to us after half an hour ready to use. She came in the morning to do breakfast just for you at the time you want ( Last day she came at 6am!!!) Delicious breakfast!!please try the Balinese food including the cakes!!amazing!!we met her sister in law as well which my bad I forgot the name!she let me follow her with my camera to take picture while she was doing the ritual they do every day in Bali as a blessing in the house and where they work too!they let you touch with hands their traditions..and this is unplayable !the Villa open just last July and we wish you all the very best for the future !!! We really miss you a lot!!and whenever we will be back to Bali for sure we will be back there!!a big hug from London!!Barbara&Gergo

The pictures don’t do it justice. It is beautiful. We went on to the Nusa Islands and Seminyak after we stayed here and myself and my partner both agreed that this was by far the best accommodation we had in our 2 week stay in Bali. Eva and Pasek, you are truly amazing people. I can not put in to words how kind they are and everything we needed was there. The day we arrived Bali airport had and IT glitch and we was stuck in the airport for 3 hours. Pasek waited the whole time and still greeted us with a lovely smile, 2 bottles of cold water and a smooth trip to Ubud. We arrived later than expected tired and hungry. Eva picked up a pizza for us! Throughout the stay she made us amazing cooked breakfasts, smoothies & and fruit platters. Every day they gave us a free shuttle to where we wanted to go in Ubud and pick up. On the day we was leaving, our next accommodation was meant to pick us up and take us to Sanur for a fast boat, they never showed! Eva took it upon herself (and her brother) to get us to Sanur to make our boat at 2pm. We can not thank them enough. Truly unforgettable experience & hope to return.

Kawan Antique was the winner of our trip! Thank you Eva and Pasek, who looked after us so well - we didn't want to ever leave! The villa is stand alone in the rice paddies and is a peaceful spot to watch the herons and dragonflies in the day and the frogs and fireflies at night. The pool is awesome and Eva's breakfasts are delicious - we will be back for sure!
