Our family is staying at the Hotel Sophia in Hydra. Such a charming and lovely family run hotel. Our room overlooks the main town square. So much fun sitting on the patio and watching the daily life here. So relaxing and beautiful. The ladies that run the Hotel Sophia are so nice. They greeted us with traditional Greek cake and...

The hotel is right in the port of hydra. Location can't get better then this! Rooms are small but very well kept. Nice clean bathrooms. Good wifi. Comfortable and clean beds. Breakfast is lovely. It can be eaten in the dinning room or on the balacony. Everything is fresh and home-made. The family who run the hotel are super sweet...

Hotel Sophia has to be the epitome of a first class establishment. The owners certainly understand what providing wonderful service to their guests is all about. From a warm greeting when you arrive, to a fabulous breakfast every morning , a million dollar view right in the centre of the port close to all the action, and very well appointed guest...

My wife and I have visited many Greek islands over the years but this was our first trip to Hydra. Reports on Tripadvisor rated Hotel Sophia very highly so we decided to stay there for our 16 days on the island - what a fantastic hotel. We booked a room with balcony which had a splendid view over the harbour...

This hotel was right on the harbor in the center of everything. The people were very nice. The price was fair. The rooms were updated, very nice and modern. The free breakfast was also great. They only have 3 rooms with a balcony. We were not one of the lucky people to be able to get a balcony since it's...

Hydra is one of the most attractive of all the Greek islands. Only two hours from Athens, devoid of cars. A walker's paradise. The one very pretty town (the set of many movies) nestles around a busy horseshoe harbour and Hotel Sophia is on the waterfront, bang in the middle. There are plenty of excellent Greek restaurants in the town...

We really enjoyed our two-night stay here! The owners were extremely friendly and helpful! The B&B is clean and comfortable, although the breakfast is not particularly exciting. The balcony is great for people watching, especially in the mornings when the ferries are offloaded and the donkeys are lined up. This B&B is located in the center of action in this small...

We loved staying here and will be back! The location is right on the harbor, not far from the ferry. Rooms have amenities and air conditioning. Bathrooms are updated. The best part? The family atmosphere of the family that owns and runs it. They were eager to please us and make sure we knew what to do, where to go,...

The property is located right on the waterfront of the harbor. No need to hire a donkey to carry your bags to this place as it is mere steps from the ferry. The owner met us and showed us the room which had a nice balcony facing the water and a had an upstairs loft bedroom. The breakfast, served downstairs...
