£193 for 5 nights for 2 people at Christmas time in my book is not a bad price! The hotel on check in was smooth. They had my details ready and waiting. The room was extremely clean. It had a safe and hairdryer. The beds and towels are replaced daily and they provide free water daily. The TV has an...

Enjoyed our stay at Lamai Buri. The hotel is situated about a 5-10 minute walk from the main bars/restaurants at Lamai so you are away from all the noise but close enough to walk to. The room was good with a decent sized shaded balcony to relax in. Beds were comfy and TV has a few English spoken film channels...

Stayed there for 10 nights with my family and we had garden view bungalow. Everything was nice and clean. Cherry on the top was the pool. All the bars and restaurants are in walking distance. Nice and quiet area. Only negative thing was that we were told that the water in the frige is free of charge but checking out...

There is a shared taxi service that goes into Chaweng for around 50 bhats per person and is worth a look it has a great food centre with Street food. The hotel has a great pool with pool bar...

This was our second stop of our trip around Thailand and probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The pictures on websites etc are very misleading. Very old rooms. We had holes in our sheets, stains on our duvet, a broken shower and a dodgy safety deposit box. The bathroom was the absolute worst. A wet room with the...

We booked standard room and it was a building that look like service apartment. Room is fine and clean but there is bad smell from a toilet. Shower is not much strong. Easy to access to Lamai Beach just walk down through the street behind. There is motorbike shop for rent just next to the hotel. Breakfast is good and...

The resort is a fairly good location, walking distance to lamai town. We rented a scooter from them, it was 200 baht a day and no issues. The resort is clean although we had some stained sheets put on our bed. The shower is hot but not very powerful and could do with an upgrade. Breakfast is basic but there...
