Precariously located at the most crowded part of the town, it may be difficult to access the lodge driveway. Services, amenities and hospitality all fall under the 'average' category. Many private hotels have come up in Malda that offer better service at competitive rates. Tourism department should not think that their duty ends with a new painting of the rooms.

If you are traveling with family, especially women, this is a very safe place as it is a govt. lodge. It is situated at Rathbari Junction(colloquially Rathbari More) which is a bustling place in heart of the city, on the National Highway connecting Kolkata and Siliguri. Rooms are large and spacious. Large Dining area for restaurant which is a bit...

I remember this place with horror from my last visit over 15 years back. This time, the welcome was courteous, check-in fast. Rooms were large, well appointed and well lit. The air conditioner purred noiselessly. The bathroom was nice and clean. Alas we discovered in the morning that the hot water line from he geyser was choked Otherwise, it was...

I visited the place in February month. The Lodge is good for all. And the service is also good. But the bad part is in the lodge is. The lodge is darty and. The implies are services too late. I ordered a food they tell me that just 10 minutes wait. And i reserved the food after 35 minutes.

One of the best hangout place with friends in malda, and also within a cheap range. Obviously the room service is good there but the main advantage of the place is it's location - in the central of the town, with both the train and bus facilities nearby.

Situated near the highway. Ideal for drive in on the way to Kolkatta. Very safe but very poorly maintained. Shows that our government property just can't be kept well. Otherwise a good place. If your lucky can see the birds breeding. Food is average and very reasonable .

“This not a place to stay for more than a night, unless you are on business. This more like a motel, to stop over on your driving tip.”

“Rooms on the upper floor are better than those on the ground floor. If you are not comfortable with the incessant traffic noise then you should opt for rooms in the inner side.”
